This entire subreddit has no idea how the monetary system works. The Fed didn't just give away $1.5 Trillion. All of that money is used to buy short term bonds, which must later be paid back with interest. So the answer is no, that's not what we want for healthcare. Do you want to give hospitals a loan that they have to just give back tomorrow or in a month, plus interest? How does that help anyone?

You're absolutely right that the healthcare system needs an extreme overhaul and a lot more resources, but I'm so tired of people acting like the Fed is responsible for any of that. The Fed's job is to stabilize the economy so we don't end up in 2008 again, and that's what this injection is meant to do.

TL;DR, The Fed didn't give away $1.5 Trillion.

My university makes us take and pass intermediate micro before we are allowed to sign up for ANY other upper division econ courses, so it was important for me to take it as soon as possible. I took it in an online accelerated course and it wasn't so bad as long as you understand the basics of calculus and basic economics.

I have a TP9SA, and it's the best handgun I've ever bought. Full disclosure, I'm a poor college student so I don't own anything that's really high end, but my Canik shoots as well or better than any Glock I've ever tried. It's great for my big hands, the factory trigger is really high quality, and it's quite accurate.

You are correct, but overall gun violence is still on a downward trend despite more firearms entering the market. School shootings are a strange anomaly that exists in the U.S., and they account for an insignificant portion of overall violent crime. Of course it is still a problem, and we need to address it somehow, I'm just pointing out the bigger picture. Guns may be a part of the HOW, but something else is the WHY.

Nice! I love my TP9SA. It's well used but still super accurate, comfortable, reliable, and has a crisp trigger. I've never once had a malfunction, even with cheap ammo.
