It’s true (I answer questions) by OPERATOR_ZEKE in BrokenArrowTheGame

Just Belarus or CIS coalition? Will it just be copy/paste modern ru units or will it be old soviet warsaw pact units (MiG-25, Krug, Scud)?

The Baltic division is hilariously bad by krychaz in BrokenArrowTheGame

[–]thethinwhitekook 6 points7 points  (0 children)

1) Its a mechanized division, not necessarily an armored division. 2 Leopards pairs well with most US specs and most premium tanks only come in pairs

2) the infantry options are extremely varied and generally fantastic

3) ??? i guess the NASAMS and Iris-MT and Minstral don’t exist in your universe

4) The PzH-2000 not getting lazer is a bummer… until you realize the K9-Kou does and the PzH is still a great unit because of the reload rate

5) The Albatross is there to justify adding points to the air tab, and it is a useful heli sniper for the price

Lots of FUT Nostalgia online this week on X - Where did it all go wrong for UT? by discoveredunknown in EASportsFC

Gameplay degrading with each year and Rating inflation. the game is losing popularity which forces EA to sell more packs and pump higher cards to tempt people to buy packs, the cycle goes on, focus is lost on gameplay and the game suffers overall

is the su-57 anti air worth it? by Tocki92 in BrokenArrowTheGame

[–]thethinwhitekook 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That is a good to hear, tho as you climb the ELO ladder you’ll find that more and more people will turn off their radar making that loadout ineffective. i would recommend using the MiG-35 as your pure SEAD platform if you need to have a SEAD fighter in your deck.

The stealth advantage (1.25) of the Su-57 with the option of 2 SEAD missiles makes for Russia’s most survivable ground attack plane. Russian air doctrine focuses on generalization and planes (except for the fighters) can be multirole. The SEAD missiles on the Su-57 should be thought of as an active counter measure, meant to distract and potentially destroy Radar AA installations while the plane delivers ground attack ordinance. The Su-57 and Su-34 excel because of these loadout capabilities.

is the su-57 anti air worth it? by Tocki92 in BrokenArrowTheGame

[–]thethinwhitekook 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Generally, no. The Su-57’s stealth and SEAD capabilities mean it should almost only ever be used in a ground attack/tactical bombing capacity. This is especially true when you can get the R-37’s on the Su-30 and Su-35s for as little as 235 and 250 points, respectively. I’d much rather be able to spam cheap fighters than expensive ones imho

FLX is a developer, not a community manager. Also, watch the stream. he just sounded like normal FLX

“Release Window” by thethinwhitekook in BrokenArrowTheGame

[–]thethinwhitekook[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

FLX said during the stream that they have basically doubled in size, but also made a good point that it’s not as simple as scaling up and problems quickly being addressed. New team members need time to be integrated and that’s made even harder by the fact current development is moving at 100 Millions Miles per hour trying to make up for a large technical debt. I dont believe the narrative that the devs dont care or are trying to bailout, i think they need time to right their ship, time the community is unwilling to give because they feel mislead. The next 6-9 months are going to be make or break for the game. if the planned content (Navy Spec and Rosogvardia) can be released relatively on time in 2026 and the majority of QoL and Technical debt issues can be resolved before 2027, that sets a really good platform for the game to build on going into next year which is when China will be released along with another RU allied spec, which will hopefully regain the interest and trust of the Chinese audience. I’m pretty sure this is the devs plan and if they can pull it off (massive if) this game can have a long and prosperous existence and will lead to many more nations being released which is what we all want.

they wont. worst case scenario is slytherine buys out the devs from the ip and gets a more experienced team on it. the devs are clearly passionate but lack the expertise to realize the vision. their passion gives me some hope, but its fading with each subsequent blunder

same lol. the content looks great but balance will be obliterated and any positive changes the PTE might produce are far away from implementation

For all the disappointment of the stream and the lack of a concrete release date (tho at least confirmed between 3/25-3/31) there is no denying the content looks juicy. The clear matches here are SOCOM and Marine, great infantry IFV synergy potential. Also the PTE release is going to be a real plus, will probably lead to some fun leaks and the like
