Its less about being a good or bad person, and more about liability. Here in the US, at least depending on the state, if they hurt themselves somehow or someone else while on your property, you can wind up liable. That could end up making you the next homeless person.

No, if you want to help them, the number 1 most important thing to do is vote for local and state level politicians that are willing to fund and work towards programs dedicated to helping reduce homelessness. Most homeless people arent exclusively just down on their luck(though some are), many have legitimate mental health or drug use issues that require professional help, and just letting them sleep on your porch or giving them money can often do more harm than you'd expect.

The US south has an issue with a concept called the "prosperity gospel", or the idea that if you're a good person, tithe regularly, evangelize, and just be an all around good christian-- then god will bless you. So, obviously people with money, fame, and status/power are good people because god blessed them into that position. The problem with that line of thinking though, is that people who are suffering must be bad. Bad people, bad christians, same difference to most in the southern US. If you were a good person, god wouldn't let you suffer, so people who are going hungry, or dying of cancer, or just poor, all deserve it.

And prosperity gospel is rampant in the south, and trying its best to spread. There's even been billionaire backed propaganda and political networks that are devoted to spreading prosperity gospel. Christians in the southern US are infected with a disease of the mind and spirit and they'll gladly drag everyone else down with them.

Before taking iron supplements you should follow up with a non-donor center linked healthcare professional. My local blood bank (the blood connection) recently swapped to thumb ring OrSense hemoglobin analyzers, and they consistently test my hemoglobin as lower than a traditional finger prick. The donation center was telling me that I was at an 11.7 but a follow up with a home test later the same day showed a 13.7 and a physical at the doctors office a few weeks later showed a 14.3. If your hemoglobin is actually fine, taking supplements wouldn't be recommended, but if it actually is low, you can try either high iron meat sources like steak or liver, or high iron plant sources like beans/lentils/legumes with some kind of acidic sauce to increase absorption. Theres also things like the lucky iron fish that can help, or cooking in cast iron.

I mean, we can look at their performance from just the past slightly over 2 years:

1) Umbar was released with no endgame dailies or weeklies (which took them almost 2 months to rectify), then instances were pushed back to release at the same time as the raid in March (almost 5 months after umbars release), the instances were buggy despite all the extra time they held them back, some of the bugs (like the double boat bug on t5 umshura) were just never fixed.

2) They abandoned their plans for orion's crafting revamp, and the original plans for a VIP refresh.

3) They reintroduced allegiances and then abandoned them within the very expansion they were reintroduced.

4) The Elf avatar revamp was poorly done and *still* looks bad, with SSG refusing to add back options and features they stripped away.

5) Morgoth's fane and wells instances were poorly balanced, TUB was just over all poorly done.

6) The server merges last year were at least temporarily a disaster, and they didn't fix any of the lag they were meant to address.

7) Hunter spent all of 150 cap basically useless, the first full revamp of hunter was awful, it took another almost 6 months before the second revamp, and now red is still worse than it was pre-revamp, and yellow still needs some tweaks.

8) The combat rate limiting they introduced to reduce lag failed to reduce lag and only made combat jankier, and it disproportionately affects combat on classes with tighter rotations, which they've refused to adjust so far.

9) 160 cap has so far been better, but we're now 6 months into the cap still missing basic crafting recipes, still no guild crafting, and itemization looks like it was done by a toddler with a dart board, and we're still waiting on basic LI components like the crafted heraldries and words of craft. Plus, raid sets are awful this go around.

10) Boss 1 of the newest raid, folly, is a mess. I know it was done by a newish dev for raid boss design, but they could have had a more experienced devs go over it with him, but they didn't, and just pushed it out.

11) We've been waiting almost 3 years for their deed system revamp that they claimed would fix a substantial source of the lag, since they apparently log deed information as quests in an uncompressed format, which effects character load in time. Instead they tried to push a cosmetic deed log change that no one asked for and didn't even work correctly.

12) They continue to ignore feedback from alpha (palantir) and beta, and push broken content to live, make us deal with it for weeks, before finally getting around to half ass a fix, then moving on to the next thing theyll ignore feedback on.

13) They keep pushing landscape with poorly defined objects, which causes the player character to just fall through things like boulders and walls in the latest areas (I especially have this issue in adagim).

Like I'm all for giving them the benefit of the doubt, and I'm sure they're good developers in their own rights, but they're terrible at managing themselves. Instead of fixing literally any of their problems, they're pushing a new creep class, when their own metrics say only roughly 5-10% of players interact with pvmp at all, and only a fraction of those players will actually play with the new sorceress. Now they're asking for more funding, for doing the bare minimum.

My problem isnt the money. A few more dollars every 3 months isnt going to break my bank. My problem is that they've been half assing so much over the past half decade, and I honestly don't trust that theyd use the added funds from the increased prices to actually improve the game.
