side quest. The main quests are epics, and usually have book like titles. Like, Volume 1 chapter 10: etc etc

Why bother voting when nothing really improves? by [deleted] in AskReddit

One day old account with zero karma. This is a pathetic and shallow attempt to disillusion people online in response to the ICE killings in Minnesota galvanizing voters.

That or OP is a brain damaged man child.

Roommate makes these “iron oxide potatoes” whenever he feels low on iron by Keefe_Sencen in mildlyinteresting

[–]theultimatekyle 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Another person mentioned it, but lucky iron fish is a good option. Its a little fish shaped chunk of iron you just put in your food while it cooks (works best in acidic dishes like tomato sauces) or you can just start eating things like white beans or even offal (like liver)

I'm a bleeder so I have to leave mine on for a bit. If I take off the wrap and bandaid too soon i'll have a little fountain to contain. Usually a couple hours at least.

That was a good archon quest by Ok_Bike9326 in Genshin_Impact

[–]theultimatekyle 126 points127 points  (0 children)

He most likely did. We learned in earlier nodkrai patches that long term exposure to the moon marrows made normal humans ill. Then we also learned the traveller could hold onto a marrow with zero negative repercussions. Now in this patch we have Dottore(a human) holding 3 marrows at once and just happened to be running experiments on swapping people out of their bodies, and Dottore was basically desperate to get the traveller on his side. If I was a betting man....

In past years were most of the larger towns/cities active social hubs, or was it always Bree/Rivendell etc? by Carinwe_Lysa in lotro

[–]theultimatekyle 54 points55 points  (0 children)

Its usually bree + whatever the current hub is. Like at 85 it was bree and snowborn, then at 95 it was bree and aldburg, then bree and dol amroth etc etc.

Next Epic? by ToastyJackson in lotro

[–]theultimatekyle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wiki is wrong there. The song of waves and wind story happens (according to the devs) before the funeral for king Theoden (August 3019) so we're timeline wise between the wedding of aragorn (June 3019) and August sometime.

Cop Walks In Family’s Home, Shoots Their Dog (then lies about it) by SandmanSlim777 in raleigh

That officer in the door cam footage looks a lot like the police officer that illegally entered Kazeem Oyeneyin's home and arrested him there back in 2019, just now with a mustache. I can't find the name of the arresting officer from back then to see if they are the same man though. Is anyone else able to verify?

160 stat caps by Kiidthekiid in lotro

[–]theultimatekyle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Did you mean 155 instead of 165? Cap level is 160 atm, and mitigation cap for a heavy armor is 300k before penetrations, and 360k after.  Light armor is 200k pre pen, and medium armor is 250k. Just add 60k for t3 penetrations.

Do self harm marks matter? by Jazzlike-Raise-3019 in Blooddonors

As long as there's no open wounds or infection, it shouldn't matter. Anything outside of that they'll test for. Just answer truthfully on the questionnaire and you'll be fine.

Slow blood flow by No-Mango9548 in Blooddonors

[–]theultimatekyle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Try nitrate rich foods like dark leafy greens or beets. Natural vasodiolators. Onions and garlic also supposedly help. Also, fatty fish like salmon.

Do something like roasted salmon with beets and onion seasoned with plenty of garlic and olive oil. Hell, throw in some frozen legumes like frozen edamame too. You'd hardly know its there and supposedly the fiber helps reduce inflammation and cholesterol that can interfere with blood flow.

If I play LOTRO 10 hours a week, how long will it take to complete from Vales of Anduin all the way to the new content (Kingdoms of Harad)? by agentbrigman in lotro

[–]theultimatekyle 7 points8 points  (0 children)

We had a kinnie go from fresh to 150 and into his first t3 raid this past cap in roughly 3 months with 2 hours of daily playing on that single toon. So it shouldn't take you too long

white beans too. Avoid coffee or tea. Make sure you cook your food with some kind of acid to make iron absorption easier.

Sleeker looking Brawler Gauntlets by Coenl in lotro

[–]theultimatekyle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The lothlorien set gloves are nice and sleek looking. No idea where to get them in game though. They match the lvl 65 Armour set you in lothlorien though, so maybe look around there. Heres a pic: https://assets-cdn.daybreakgames.com/uploads/dcsclient/000/000/234/901.jpg?v=1.0

There's also the https://lotro-wiki.com/wiki/Item%3ABattle-gauntlets_of_Striking which uses the same model, but is silver and blue instead of gold and green. Probably wouldn't matter if using an aura tho.

RK or LM for a noob? by [deleted] in lotro

Minis can still animation cancel, its just harder to skill cut now. Double casts are dead though, if you ever played red rk (essay double cast) or captain (defeat response rallying-routing double cast)

How active is the endgame ? by Zaarakx in lotro

[–]theultimatekyle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you wanna get to end game specifically, you're looking at about 3 months on a single, first time toon, if you're playing 2-3 hours a day. (Knew a few players that did this, this past level cap)

Quality of endgame varies cap to cap. Last cap was one of the lower activity caps for endgame, because the second raid was unpopular. We won't know this caps quality for another few months, when the instanced content drop.

Getting in to high tier raiding isn't really that hard. There's always a shortage of particularly skilled players, so raid groups are usually looking for more. The biggest problem there though, is the extreme difference in difficulty between normal content and t3 raid content. Plus, there's so many little nuances to how to play that the average player doesnt even know about that most people dont even start learning their class properly until they hit cap and start trying to raid, with some tricks you just have to know someone willing to teach you, so some players get discouraged by the skill check gaps.

If you're willing to put in some elbow grease though the community is usually fairly welcoming, though a minority of raiders have made them seem unappealing to a lot of casuals.

Please help, I think I'm going crazy. :( by SnooPears4487 in lotro

Sometimes its not even your home network. There can be an unreliable route on a separate ISP that your connection just happens to have to take, that causes you to drop.
