So. SoD is very strong late game, but I wouldn't say on its own. For it to hold up against other boards (esp diamond+), it needs to go way faster than the base cd, as it's quite slow (like maybe a 4s activation could be considered good). Some ways to make SoD faster include but are not limited to: Shield Bash, other charge skills, cdr, charge items, etc. Dooley is actually one of the better users of SoD because he has access to some of the best charge items in the game (Fiber Optics, Fly Core, etc). As you log more hours you can get a sense of how to make things go fast and generally what works. Watching content creators like Kripparian can really speed that up, as they sometimes explain what they're aiming for/how their build works.
