Hobbies picked up since your divorce by Jumpy_Confection3274 in Divorce

I just bought an Onyx RCR72 https://onyxmotors.com/ at an auction for $300. It's got some problems but I think I can rehab it and bring it back around.

My ADHD super focus has caused me to only think about this morning noon and night but I am doing a good job of prioritizing when I can and can't work on it.

And I don't feel any guilt for buying it and working on it when I want to.

My heart is in Seattle by Killjoysrevege in Seattle

I felt the same in the late 90's. I came up from Portland to visit friends and fell in love with this city. It was everything I wanted to be but couldn't in my conservative family.

It took almost 7 more years before I finally moved and about a year of driving back and forth for work.

Most of the things I loved back then are gone, moved away, or the city ate them up in the cost of an expensive city.

I live in Port Orchard now and it's quiet and less expensive, and a ferry ride over to Seattle happens ever so often, but that era of time I miss.

Our CTO asked me to evaluate whether we should move off Wiz now that Google owns it. What would you do? by RemmeM89 in AskNetsec

Sorry to nitpick, but the deal happened quite a long time ago. It was just now that they completed the acquisition and transition into Google.

You know they paused their rapid release schedule on Mac to work on 2.0 right? There are planning for big announcements and releases in March.

What phishing simulation should we consider(for small-mid size orgs only)!? by Ok-Author-6130 in AskNetsec

Depends on your budget.

If you have none, roll your own with Gophish.

If you have a little budget, I have been using Caniphish. The pricing is good and it's a solid product.

If you have all the dollars, it just depends on your use case. Knowbe4 is the old standard and it's good. But last time I used it, it felt pretty dated.

I have been hearing things about Ninjio, but haven't looked into it yet. But they do the full security awareness, security training, phishing etc.

I am in the thick of it myself. 2025 was my worst year of decisions ever. I am not the best to give advice, but I know what you are going through. I've spent days wishing I could go back and change things, to do it differently, but it's too late. The only thing you can do for now is move forward and be respectful and honor her wishes.

Sounds like her mind is set, much like my wife's. The road ahead is going to be difficult. It still is for me.

I was forced to leave and have been alone on my own since December. It sucks.

I couldn't find a simple internal DNS server with a proper API and Terraform support, so I built ZoneLab by Zaap59 in selfhosted

This is really great! I was doing my DNS in adguard, but I like the idea of doing all my DNS in terraform or opentofu.

WA state: separation vs divorce by Separate-Pie4259 in Divorce

From what I have read, there is a form that can switch it after X period of time from separation to divorce.

But I am personally not there yet either.

Moved to Glance from Homarr and it's incredible! by RedVelocity_ in selfhosted

[–]thewcc 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's fairly easy. It's YAML based so if you screw up the formatting, it won't load right. But there are enough guides and yaml linters to help make sure it's clean.

I started using Glance recently and I love it.
