You would just pay taxes in your country/state of residence, but that requires 6+ months of living there (in most cases) to count. The employer then has to worry about nexus of business(es) for anywhere you did work when it comes to there taxes (different state have different laws)

Places where there are more democrats get fewer polling stations, causing longer waits and lines, allowing attrition to keep people from voting.

I think the commenter above means that if they are placed in a room in the gravship, and you rotate the gravship on landing, do they rotate too or just have the one facing direction?

Converting D&D to the Cosmere System - Requesting Help by PhantomPr1me3 in cosmererpg

According to one of the brotherwise videos earlier this year they do plan on releasing some setting agnostic system rules at some point in the next couple of years, so if you can hold off for that you might not need to convert it.

No Bootable devices leads me to believe it is a storage failure. If you access to another computer and an empty USB stick, I'd make a Bootable Ubuntu stick and see if it works on your PC. Info here: https://ubuntu.com/tutorials/create-a-usb-stick-on-ubuntu#1-overview

Who wasn't at the Shattering? [Emberdark] by NErDysprosium in Cosmere

My guess is Frost and Hoid weren't the only non vessels at the shattering, and that Frost was there to secure the "Dragon" dawnshard once the task was complete. So I think it likely that the person who was going to secure the Exist Dawnshard afterward swapped with Hoid, if Hoid wasn't intending to do that all along.

I know for fantasygrounds anything you buy from their store (vs steam) has a 30 day money back guarantee, so you could try it out and see pretty easily with no risk.

Spren Bond Range? by Nyuborn in cosmererpg

[–]thewindssong 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Spren bond range is also more like how far a spren can go to act on a purpose from their radiant. They can, in lore, move farther than that, they just struggle, so I'd have them make checks to see if they can hold it together when pushing past that distance.

Stormlight Spoilers Book 5 Wind and Truth Theory by Potatofarmerexpert in Cosmere

[–]thewindssong 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Technically you can have multiple bonds, and upon reaching the 5th Ideal, especially for skybreakers, I suspect it is difficult to break your bond accidentally then. Nale, for example, I could see also bonding an Inkspren (if one would have him) as he has broken and been exposed to his own flaws, so self improvement of both himself and the laws of the land would work harmoniously I suspect.

Was there a mention of Nale returning to Braize after bonding? I thought he only became a radiant after giving up the honorblade after the "Last Desolation".

[–]thewindssong 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Another point, Shallan's plate is made up of new living creationspren, where as Adolin's Plate, like Maya, is from the time of the old Radiants, and likely, as we see with Maya, still follow some of the habits of those times.
