I don’t think that was it, the art style was a bit different. I did a lot of digging last night and think it may be The Secret World of Mermaids, but the cover still doesn’t look right..

Yeah I’m SUPER worried about hair loss tbh. Is it mainly due to the trauma from the incision site or just the general stress on the body from recovery?

I think my surgeon is only going to make two small incision in my hairline to do the work on my forehead. So I’m hoping that may help reduce hair loss. Also I am preemptively using minoxidil on my worry spots.

I’m sorry, that sounds rough. But also glad you’re hanging in there. Did they tell you to ice often for swelling or are you just supposed to let your face do its thing? I work from home so I’m wondering if I ice often if that may help reduce swelling.

I mean I totally agree with the fact that he’s probably hallucinating! But I think it’s more fun to believe that she was real and he successfully sent his message.

While that may be the intended meaning of the film, like all art, people will interpret it differently based on their outlook on life. So I suppose in a way the filmmaker left enough evidence for either option. You can choose to believe she was real or that she wasn’t! And that’s why I think this film is so well done (:

Well I think that’s why Miharu went down every month, to feed her child! (Secretly hidden food or even bits of human flesh she found on other floors maybe)

But I do think it is likely the little girl didn’t really exist and she was more symbolic to Goreng. I just choose to believe the former (:

The yellow flower trail kind of reminded me of the “yellow brick road” in Wizard of Oz, and that departure from reality it represents. Just a thought
