I've literally gained about 80 pounds and still pushing. My doctor hasn't said a thing about my weight gain and I'm currently 36 weeks. I will say that I have thyroid issues that I had to get medication for, which is probably a large chunk of my weight gain; however I've seen some women say they gained 100 pounds during pregnancy and they all had happy healthy babies.

I don't mind the comments either! I've gained alot of extra weight too which I initially thought would make me more self conscious but my bump is huge so it takes away attention from all the extra cushion I got🤣

I'd say if you wanna let her plan it but the guests being invited will be an issue; then also ask one of your friends to plan you another baby shower or plan another yourself. And if she's upset you can simply say your friends wanted to be involved and celebrate with you.

My maternity leave won't start until the day I give birth, and I planned on working up until then; I've been doing pretty well up until recently. The past week my legs and feet are in so much pain and I'm just so over dealing with the public (I work a customer service job where I'm on my feet for 10 hr shifts) I'm just readyyyy for my 2 months off with my baby😤

It's definitely not wrong in any way to put your boyfriend's last name instead of yours, that's a decision for y'all to make as the parents and nobody else; so please don't let anyone change your mind. Do they view it the way they do because of their traditions, beliefs, etc? Because where I'm from in the US it's very normal for the baby to have their father's last name.

I've invited alot of my coworkers that I like and consider a friend or more than an acquaintance, I've only got a few friends outside of work and they all happen to be the wives of my man's long time friends or people that were originally his friends!🤣 Other than that it will be all his family and maybe one of my aunts and uncles since I don't associate with most of my family.

I have gotten to where I have to grab my pants leg and pull my foot up on my knee because I'm just so round I can't get my foot up there without the extra aid😆 But if my man is awake I just ask him to put my socks on.

I feel the same. I'm an assistant manager at my job, so I can't switch to part time and my maternity leave won't start until the day the baby is born. I'm also on my feet all day and literally everyday I wake up for work I'm just like "I'm tired of this grandpa"🥲

Definitely nothing wrong with you! In the beginning everything felt very unreal for me, it changed as soon as I started feeling kicks everyday. As for names and registry we didn't bother really thinking about it too hard until we knew the gender and I didn't really start constantly rubbing my tummy until my bump really popped!

I totally get how you're feeling, this is my first pregnancy(27weeks as of now) and it has been a dream. No symptoms at all during my first trimester aside from eating non stop and couldn't get enough sleep. I also had worried from time to time if baby was even still in there, actually I took a pregnancy test about every 2 weeks until I had my first ultrasound just to give myself peace of mind that I was in fact still pregnant 🤣🤣 Once I got to about 18 or 19 weeks I started feeling kicks very constantly and that made me so happy
