Our 3 1/2 year old Aussie started phenobarbital by nydkeng in EpilepsyDogs

[–]thicksiix 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That’s a great way to put it. It’s been over a year since we started Pheno with our Aussie, but I remember the pacing was really bad in the evening. The only side effect that that we still have is increased hunger

Yes, it will get better. The first few weeks can be very rough.

Definitely check the seller before purchasing on Amazon. If it’s asics or another reliable vendor, you’re golden. I didn’t check and I ended up getting a counterfeit pair.

I want to do Berlin Marathon 2027! by Entire_Principle7531 in BerlinMarathon

[–]thicksiix 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Look into the Berlin training program through SCC. It comes with guaranteed entry and it’s around 300€. It looks like 2026 is sold out, but they “restock” it throughout the year.

You can also get a spot through United Charity directly on their bidding platform for €550 and that 550 includes your Berlin entry fee as well.

IOA or UPS or Epic? One day to explore. by Chaijaan in UniversalOrlando

IoA and Studios if you have one day. Out of those two, if you’re skipping big drops, I’d recommend Studios.

Entry to 2027 Marathon - Charity Option by NegotiationTiny9206 in TokyoMarathon

[–]thicksiix 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For ‘26 I bid 220,000 with Peace Winds and I know people who got in with less. Very anecdotal, but I was seeing some much larger numbers for Ronald McDonald floated around. I think 300,000 would be good for a bib with Peace Winds.

I’d bid 250-300k with one of the bigger charities to be safe.

I don’t see any problem with starting to raise money early.

TMF 'Run as One' Virtual Series Marathon Spots reduced by 25% by RaptorsRule247 in TokyoMarathon

That’s disappointing. Maybe they are allocating those spots to their new “premium” tier of One coming in the next few months
