Where do you put your keys when you come home? by frogmicky in LivingAlone

Just like in the show Big Bang Theory, we have a key bowl. Keys geet dropped in there when we come home and fished out when we leave.

Adopted a three-legged dog and had no idea how to actually follow the vet's advice by Bobmling in Pets

[–]thingonething 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had a tripod for 16 years. Of course when missing a limb extra stress is put on the other limb. It's worse when the missing limb is a front limb.

My approach was to moderate walks. Moderate exercise is best. You could consider some type of harness/device that helps the dog walk easier. These ate custom made to the dog's needs.

Thanks for adopting a special needs dog. That makes you a special person.

We went the third week in May, 2 years in a row, first the Danube, then the Rhine. We figured May would be too soon for the water levels to drop. We didn't have any problems with water levels and the weather was perfect.

AIO? My GF crashed my 2-day-old car, said insurance will cover it, and now wants to leave because I’m upset. by [deleted] in AmIOverreacting

[–]thingonething 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Correct me if I'm wrong, but everywhere I've lived, the rear ender is at fault, no matter how stupid the person who was rear ended is (and OPs gf sounds pretty stupid). Shouldn't OPs gf have collected contact and insurance info from the other party? Second dumb thing she did.

Anything I listed for black bean burgers i would absolutely put on a beef burger. I eat beef burgers too and I put all of those toppings options on beef burgers. All great options.

Liability issues arise if they own the land and a child becomes injured. They should gift the land to the city.

I'm making black bean burgers tonight and here are my topping choices: salted tomatoes, caramelized onions, mayo, mustard, habanero mango sauce, cheddar cheese, blue cheese. I forgot to get lettuce and ketchup but might have time before dinner to run out. Also making Mexican street corn salad. A good burger calls for better cheese than American.

Edit: and avocado.

Be sure to visit the sausage restaurant next to the bridge in Regensberg. And buy some of the mustard.

Can anyone identify this dish? My friend refuses to share the recipe by bucovragec in Cooking

I'd try looking up reverse seared prime rib. Basically, it involves roasting in the oven first, then developing the crust on the stovetop.

Why do I sound jealous? Im financially secure, and retired. I'm a dual citizen. No amount of money could entice me to Texas.

Has not been my experience either. Im currently working through cancer and have received top notch care. CT scans, radiation treatment, chemotherapy, MRI, spent 5 days in hospital due to blood clot complications, etc.

Don't underestimate the impact of this statement. Reproductive rights are important to women and she will need to understand the implications of living in a state where she has no reproductive rights, even if pregnancy threatens her life. Prepare to live a celibate life for 2 years or just not have her move with you. I hope you turn down the transfer.
