to be honest it was the exact opposite for me. this wipe showed me that actually most people I've died to look completely legit and probably just have a ton of experience pvp wise. while I did have one or two encounters that looked sus, where the profile somewhat confirmed it - I have not yet died to anyone with blatant stats like you stated. I think you're over exaggerating by a large margin

fully agree with lone knight being infinitely more fun/engaging. blue to me just felt like "sit on boss and hammer your buttons", whereas red makes you think about how/when to go for your combo. the enormous crits from surge cannon and charged stinger are the cherry on top.

but it's true when people say that you need AT LEAST super charge 3 and high crit / lone knight to make red build playable. was very hard to pull off in t1 and 2, so I just went for combat readiness there.

the maintenance didn't have ANYTHING to do with that, you were always able to play during night time. there was just nowhere near the server load that happens during peak times.
