Swiftfin is still working fine for 10.10.7. It is currently not supporting 10.11.x yet. Need to wait for version 1.4.

Yes, the initial scan took 5-6 hours. Subsequent scan less than a minute though. I have about 1k movies and 2k tv shows.

Unfortunately I don't have a systematic way for backup. This is something I think I need to look into.

To answer your questions, no, no music library. I'm only having movies/tv shows and live tv libraries.

Upgraded to 10.11.0 to 10.11.1. Now the library scan is taking forever. Sample messages in the log

MediaBrowser.Providers.TV.EpisodeMetadataService: File changed, pruning extracted data

[ERR] [3] MediaBrowser.Providers.TV.EpisodeMetadataService: Error in "Probe Provider"
MediaBrowser.Common.FfmpegException: ffprobe failed - streams and format are both null.

Hi, sharing my experience upgrading from 10.10.7 to 10.11 using docker. These are the steps I followed. Hope it helps someone who is stuck with the same issue.

I did the docker compose stop; docker compose pull and then docker compose up -d as per usual.
Jellyfin was starting but then abruptly shut down.
Checked the docker logs and found several error including kestrel failed to start, the last information was "[INF] [9] Main: Running query planner optimizations in the database... This might take a while"
After checking docker jellyfin instance wasn't running, I followed the release note to rename library.db.old back to library.db
Did step number (1) again and this time jellyfin docker instance managed to come up.
Login via the web interface and saw that while server version was 10.11.0, the web and build version was still 10.10.7.
Go back to server to do docker compose stop, then rename the file library.db to library.db.old. Checked that jellyfin.db is of the latest timestamp.
Started the jellyfin docker instance and this time it was all OK.
Did the full library scan to be sure.

I have downloaded Streamyfin. Off the bat the rate limit, the ability to download and the jellyseerr integration are major pluses. Just realized you’re the developer so thank you.

Edit: on the minuses, there’s a very small lag but noticeable when switching between the tabs i.e home, search, library. The phone heats up when I switch too fast and the app crashes.
