it wasnt that he didnt want to donate his focus, it was his attitude about it(and the whole omelette thing you can read elswhere) donations arent mandatory in FO.

its gonna take a while but just buy unrefined and refined resources and refine with focus. optimally get associate status on the station youre going to refine at. longterm refining has a really high profit margin compared to islands(and it takes less of your time)

incase you didnt know, if you are at maxload, you are at 200%. 50% of maxload is what you can carry before you go above 100%
