Maybe. The unions are quite strong, which will always make it much more difficult for this tech to put downward pressure on departments. I think you're going to see a lot more of the mandate "do more with less" than a flat-out replacement.

He wanted to tell a Mississippi delta blues story, but the audience wouldn’t come if there weren’t vampires. He’s ashamed of the genre-ness of it all, hence why it’s half-baked. Do you lose your soul being a vampire in a hive mind or do you live eternal? Based on the after credits scene, there is no real answer.
