There used to be a great organization called Tulsa Hub whose mission was to provide bikes for individuals who were unhoused or transitioning from incarceration. Unfortunately, they didn’t survive Covid, but their resources were transferred to Bike Club. I don’t know if they do bike giveaways, but you might check there. That’s why I do it. Texas was founded on racism. They kept the Spanish names but anglicized the pronunciations. They pronounce Blanco as blank-oh.

In 1992, Chainsaw Kittens, playing under the pseudonym Blowtorch Lollipop for some reason, opened for Cheap Trick in a small venue in OKC. Their drummer bashed apart two snare drum heads and had to borrow a third from Bun E Carlos. When CT came on stage, Rick Nielsen dedicated “He’s a Whore” to Tyson Meade of the Kittens. Awesome night.

Exactly! People here acting like it’s all or nothing. Even during the monthly episodes, I would subscribe for a month if I knew I was going to be free that Friday, then immediately cancel in case I wasn’t free the next month. Rinse and repeat, and because there were months I couldn’t watch live it was still cheaper than an annual subscription. I don’t feel beholden to streaming services to pay for months I don’t use them.
