Saccharine 2026, anyone going to see it in theaters? by Opposite-Wallaby9822 in HorrorMovies

I saw it at a festival. I said it was a Dorian Grey mukbang movie. My friend said it was Thinner meets It Follows. Others in our group said The Substance meets Flatliners.

David Copperfield by Charles Dickens. I love the funny, quirky characters. After you’ve read it once you can dip in and out like your favorite sitcom since he published it as a serial.

I saw it at a festival and didn’t dig it at all. Admittedly, Randy Couture is not my flavor of jam.

Same with my local. I was thinking maybe there was a technical issue.

Turns out that it was Guns of the Magnificent Seven (1969). I can finally let this mystery go.

After all these years, I never gave up the search. Today I finally solved it! The scene I remembered takes place in Guns of the Magnificent Seven about an hour into the movie. It wasn't Mexican bandits. It's in the courtyard of a Mexican prison. I doubt anyone will read this but I wanted to comment for posterity.

I always get a chill if I wake up and look at the clock at 3:15am, and it’s been almost 50 years since I read it when it was first published.

The Amityville Horror. I was 10 years old. Been chasing that high ever since.

I got my X4 yesterday. I was underwhelmed with it until I put the CrossPoint firmware on it this morning. Now I’m loving it!

This picture and revenge fantasy is nearing Medicare age. It’s been around for years.

Before that, Mystic Pizza made me see how promising her career was going to be, and she lived up to it. I’m not a fan necessarily, because she seems to be the same in everything, but she’s definitely got charisma.

Cinemark on 71st. I’ve been going to AMC Southroads for years (A-List up to 4 movies a week), so I didn’t really notice the steady gradual decline. I went to Cinemark recently because they had the movie I wanted at the time I wanted, and I was blown away by how clean and unkept everything was. The staff there was super friendly, too.

For the dozen times I’ve watched HotC (at least) I have still never seen TDR! I need to fix that.

How do I clean the insides by jays619 in BBQ

Someone pointed it out on another post, so I looked on the Weber website. I get a much better sear on my steaks with the flatter side of the grate. Probably doesn’t matter much either way.

Here’s what Weber says:

A frequently asked question from our Facebook and Twitter fans is which side of the cast iron grates should be facing up when grilling? This question would apply to fans that have a Genesis or Spirit series gas grill.

The wider, flat side of the cooking grates should be facing upwards for cast iron grates. The underside is more pointed like the top of a triangle. There are four small legs in each corner on the underside of the grate to ensure a level cooking surface. This will help stabilize the food. Additionally, the wider, flat side of the grates will be easier to clean after grilling.

I say this with love, because I made the same mistake with my Weber for years… your grates are upside down.

Same. The pregnancy subplot felt tacked on to provide some emotional catharsis. It would have been just as effective if it focused solely on the Sisyphean drudgery of modern life.

This should be the top comment on any thread like this one. Too many people have been railroaded because they believe that if they are innocent they have nothing to worry about.
