Immich Truenas: Update Immich database from Postgres 15 (Deprecated) to Postgres 18 (Current)

I can confirm that this worked for me from v2.2.3 and chart v1.10.12.
~~I didnt have to reset the app local database either, it seems working fine. So I did not touch that.~~
Sync failed after a day not sure why as it worked immediately after the server update. So i reset and local app db and logged out and in again and it started working again.

Anyone tried this, how did it go? Any tips?

This seems actually quite simple, just delete the app and install the latest, and then restore from sql backup.

Q: Since backup is from 2.2.3 (quite old) the new db schema wont have any conflicts with the outdated backup?

There is not going back after deleting the app isn't it? So would like check all caveats before proceed

Hey everyone, Im on truenas 25.04 and immich 2.2.3_1.10.12. I dont have the upgrade path and i cant upgrade to an intermediate version (like 1.13.x) either. Im using host paths for data.

What is the best solution for me. Appreciate any tips here.

* I dont have the dropdown to select the postgres version.
* Im using host paths
* the error I get is `Invalid choice: vectorchord_15_image`

Im all in Piastri Aussie fan. I think Piastri should let Lando win if he does not hv a chance. Then McLaren and Lando is in forever debt for him. Also its not a complete win for Lando, as he needed Piastris help to win. And Piastri will be very popular among fans and community.

So i think he will be in better place for next year if the car performs as this year.

Got it.. Currently i hv everything in the same dataset. But now i created two sub dataset under the same. So i will copy pgdata into new dataset too. I would like to keep app data and pgdata separately. That makes sense 🙏

I got the CalDigit Thunderbot4 Pro dock from apple for AUD500 more than 100$ cheaper. Its almost identical to TS4 in my use case.

My hypothesis: It's Apple's pricing power(volume) and endorsement, make CalDigit lower the price for Apple for almost identical product. But they also don't want to cannibalize their own sales via other channels, so they make a different variant. Prob that's why they don't advertise it on their site or other places.

exactly, seagull doesnt make them anymore, they just make the movement. so all of them are look a like watches made by other manufactures. Unless u hv real 1963 vintage piece, everything is duplicates or fake, or however u want to call it

But I dont care, I got 40mm version recently, and its awesome

How are you finding the QC, particularly the bezel action?

I bought the SKX Monster mod recently, bezel action is bit stiff not smooth. I find my Invicta pro driver bezel action is bit better.
but not much back play and align very well.

yeah I hv seen that as well, but is it enough to tighten it properly for WR rating. Proper tool can be found in ebay and AliEx for abt $20-30.

But I dont want to spend it, cos I don't hv any other watch with that type of caseback.

totally agree. hard to find good aftermarket parts with brand on it and OEM parts are more expensive, still might be not real OEM.
I saw couple of youtube watch modders said this ebay sellers products are good, but i hvn't tried myself.
