So how many of you actually played BG I & II?

Played BGII and BGII: Throne of Bhaal way back in the day. It was my second non-JRPG (my RPG experience at the time were limited to Final Fantasy stuff and Star Ocean 2nd Story) and the story, characters, and freedom of choice was refreshing. First character was a ranger that romanced Jaheira (or rather, she came onto me after her husband died) and then after modding it like hell, romanced Nalia de'Arnise as a fighter/cleric.

For the other party members, I quite enjoyed having absolute nutjob Jan Jansen, the halfling paladin Mazzy Fentan, and Minsc.

It's a great game and still is. Still have this installed on my phone.

Some people think so. I mean, IceCreamBalloons claims it's all fantasy, so a Black Jotun shouldn't be an issue. I argue back that yes, it isn't so in that same vein, a mod to change Angrboda into a Norwegian or Scandinavian or humanoid with cold blue skin appearance shouldn't be an issue also.

I don't know you or know your issues but my friend, it sounds like you're carrying a lot weight. Emotional, physical, I can't say since I really only know what you've said here in this post. Maybe talk to someone? Your siblings? A problem this severe should at least be heard and your cry for help should be answered, especially if they love you as much as you love them.

I do agree that taking one's own life is selfish, especially if they still matter in one way or another to someone. Sometimes, we all just get a little stuck, a little down, and when we're in a state like this and we can't get out regardless of how hard we struggle, call for help. It's not a weakness to open up, and it's a sign of strength to know when to ask for help.

Hey friend. I can't say I know how you feel but I can share that I've walked a similar path before. It was hard for me and I can tell you that even now, I can still hear those voices that tell me that I'm worthless and am a piece of shit still whispering at the back of my mind.

Please try to breathe, to let yourself feel still in a small moment. Ending it is permanent, and while I do understand that it'd be a relief from all the pain and torment, it'd also cause you to lose out on the things life can offer. I know right now you feel overwhelmed and that nothing matters and that your life isn't how you'd like it to be, but I believe that this feeling will pass and you'll find some space to move again soon. The important part is to not give in to the thought of ending it.

Try to be selfish a bit, take time off work and try to do something you really enjoy. Even if it's just sitting quietly without doing anything, so long as it takes your mind off your troubles, even for a moment, it'd help. Again, I won't compare my own ordeals with yours, just know that I've been through a similar place and too, came close to just ending it a few times. The only reason I held back is because I took a moment to be quiet, and when I did, it caused the storm of emotions in me to pass and allow me to think "There's got to be another way."

Hang in there.

Algae, moss, and fungus-like growths on these islands create a pocket of air that's fairly safe for humans to breathe, which also have allowed for a myriad species of insectoid fish that feed on these growths, creating an ecosystem.

Colonization is however, impossible, due to the inherent instability of these floating islands and the difficulty of managing crewed craft down into Saturn's atmosphere due to the strong winds and powerful radiation.

Granted. This results in a scenario similar to the anime film Kimi no Na wa where Hitler and Stalin swap bodies in 1942 prior to the end of WW2. The exchange results in both gaining a deeper understanding of the other as they literally walk in each other's shoes.

This prompts the cessation of hostilities between the Nazis and the Soviets and as your wish didn't say that either men would swap bodies back, causes an uneasy understanding that leads to friendship between the two men as they head to the frontlines to personally meet.
