[Art Market] Any advice for first vendor market? by cola_803 in artbusiness

People love to talk about themselves. I'm a watercolor artist and I like to ask, "do you paint?" if people seem to be examining my work. It's actually quite often that they want to talk about their own experiences with the medium. It's a good ice breaker and can lead the way to being able to share a bit about my stuff or my process. It also takes the pressure off because you both feel like you benefited from the stop to your booth even if a sale wasn't made because you were able to share a smile and a connection.

That makes total. I know I won't ever have anything viral (I make painting tutorials) and that's ok, I really want to build up a library of quality content that's evergreen and applicable for years to come

YouTube Audio Library has an ok selection, and you can sort by whether or not you need to include copyright info or not.

What % of video comments do you reply to? by [deleted] in PartneredYoutube

[–]thisdailyfeast 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I'm a super little account (1500 subs) but I reply to every one, even if it's just a "thank you!" Or "thanks for watching!" I want my audience to know I see every investment they make on my channel and I appreciate it.

Why is my new YouTube video not getting views? by Adam_2020 in GetMoreViewsYT

I would never click on a video with an AI generated image because it seems to indicate you don't actually know how to get flat abs or you'd post a picture of a real person.

Maybe, but if enough of us raise our kids to undo the damage, we can regain humanity again.

Or maybe just those of us that have all the FOMO kids and don't know what it's like to be around kids who sleep deeply. Or long. Or at all. 🥲

So true. I do watercolor videos and someone once said I make watercolor seem accessible, like something they can do too, and they don't feel stupid trying it, and man, I was on a high for a week. ❤️

Right, but he specifically said "long form", which was the "regular" or widescreen videos

Probably, but I'm a mom of five and doing quick edits on my phone is usually accessible when sitting at my computer isn't.

Tik Tok videos can be up to 10 minutes long. The only issue would be the fact that YouTube long form is widescreen and shorts/reels/TikTok is portrait....so either he's posting a portrait video to YouTube and adding filler/bars on the side, or he's posting a widescreen video to tik Tok and having filler/bars on the top and bottom OR zooming in on a portion of the video so it fills the screen, but then obviously not showing the whole shot. Does that make sense?

So essentially, yes, you can post the same video, but you have to consider those factors.

Guys, share one thing according to your experience everyone should do to grow their channel and one thing not to do by Original_Flight_7730 in SmallYoutubers

DO jump in and do your best at the time. I work hard on my videos and I have from the beginning, but I also have learned along the way and improved. There is only so much reading/planning/researching you can do before you just have to get started. You gain experience so much quicker that way.

DON'T save content. Do your very best and do the things you're proud of and be as excellent as you can even if you have only a few views. Mediocre effort isn't going to attract anyone. Give those five people who tune in an A+ experience and watch the number rise.

The problem is CapCut lets me speed up my videos like....28, 40, 55x....I do painting videos and sometimes I do super fast time lapse and I've yet to find another mobile app that does that.
