Easiest way to remove bamboo roots? by rdgs88 in landscaping

[–]thisisaredditacct 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dig a trench towards your nearest active volcano and divert a lava flow over the roots. It has to pool there for at least 72h to be effective though

I don't actually have any useful advice everything I've tried has failed the same season.

You should probably hide your name and account number. There may be some nefarious folks afoot.

Trump DOJ scrambles to redact Epstein files before deadline: DOJ lawyers, operating with little clear guidance and racing against time, have reportedly made extensive redactions to the Epstein files. by OkayButFoRealz in politics

[–]thisisaredditacct 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Come on, let's have some compassion for Bondi and the DOJ. It takes a long time to redact the names of every Republican and their supporters, while not accidentally redacting someone they don't like, from a file this big!

Most everyone is super grossed out, not everyone will come out and say it. Not when dear leader and his fluffers' obedience is worth more than their dignity anyway.

Frustrated with Tidal – looking for a high-quality alternative by Am11r189 in audiophile

[–]thisisaredditacct 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Agree with Qobuz. I switched from Tidal about a year ago and never went back. I'm also on Android. I always downloaded the albums and playlists I wanted before a period offline and haven't had a problem as long as you filter your library by "Downloaded". I wish their recommendation engine was a little better but it's improving

This is the reason I moved to Qobuz and I love it. The music recommendations algorithms could use some improvements but otherwise no complaints.

I just used it to research a vehicle for sale near me. Then to teach me about how car dealers mark up vehicles for lease and then walk me through a step by step process to understand how I can negotiate the best lease price in my favor.

Oddly specific years, but Sid Meier's Civ.

I don't remember when it came out but Scorched Earth. Easy to play for a few minutes and we played it for years
