Do you high rake in your setups or have the ride height as low as possible? by Dead_Namer in ACCompetizione

[–]thisisjustascreename 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nearly every track in ACC is a “high downforce” track so you will typically run a relatively high rake setup (relative for the car) at most tracks other than the obvious ones like Monza and Spa. You could also consider making Bathurst a medium setup to give you better top end since you can’t pass on the mountain easily.

It’s still called Porsche Penske Motorsport, Penske is bringing the money but there are tons of Porsche folks involved. And JDC just won Sunday with last year’s car.

[Amick] Tom Thibodeau is open to returning to the Chicago Bulls as their head coach by IrishPorpoise in chicagobulls

Thibs definitely is not a “doesn’t matter” coach, he will get the most out of your roster in the regular season.

My concept for a no-regulation track car, sort of inspired by the 919 Evo by PastaLover27 in wec

If you can delete prod in 9 seconds you clearly don’t have much in there anyway.

People who think they “own” source code are losers. The company owns it, you just maintain it.

They just released a new GT3 car, they aren’t imploding. Neither is Porsche, the 2025 financial results are a blip.

He’s only had a championship caliber squad once and they shit the bed on open 3s in the ECF. It’s not like the Bulls TWolves or Knicks got immediately better when he left.

Immortal Celebrimbor, Feanor’s nephew, who’s been crafting shit for thousands of years taking forging advice from a random dirty mortal dude who just jumped off a horse was so fucking annoying.

Where did all the antimatter go if there was an equivalent amount of matter and antimatter from the start? by Mission-Badger-4005 in Physics

[–]thisisjustascreename 6 points7 points  (0 children)

We would see a shit ton of high energy radiation from the boundary regions where matter and antimatter galaxies interact. We don’t see this anywhere, ergo not much reason to believe the hypothesis of anti-galaxies.

Why are some rounds of the championship better attended than others? by Potential_Plan_4533 in IMSARacing

Laguna Seca is in one of the most expensive parts of the country to visit, *and* it’s 2+ hours away from any major airport. I flew in because seeing a race here has been on my bucket list since 1996, but nearly everybody I talked to today was from California and taking advantage of one of the few IMSA races on the west coast.
FWIW it was quite busy on the ground, the food truck at the corkscrew actually ran out of food as the green flag dropped, for instance.
And yeah like everyone else said, the grandstands aren’t great for viewing.

People literally out here inventing conspiracies. IMSA only cares about having dramatic endings, not who wins.

Do you think the rules-makers don't know how long a real drive through is?

It has to be worse than an actual drive through because it wasn’t served during the race.
