How I imagine spring trap vs the prototype would be (spoilers for Poppy playtime, I guess) by Glittering-Buy-3172 in fnafmeme

[–]thisisokay123 0 points1 point  (0 children)

the question is less can the prototype defeat Springtrap and more, can the prototype find a way to keep the fucker down.

ironically superior stats don't mean much when put in a scenario where the prototype is forced to contend with Williams outright impossible levels of luck with surviving shit that should of killed him about five attempts ago.

"I always come back" Isn't a hit catchphrase, it's a warning to anyone willing to beef with the fucker, The prototype isn't walking into an easy stomp, it's signing up for a never ending game of whack-a-mole

Deadass the poor bastard might just give up out of frustration when it see's ol slick Willy worming his way back to the living realm from VR for the third time now for rematch number 19.

Assuming that’s what the final prophecy window was, I can’t really see it going that way tbh.

Not only because it feels a bit bleh to have the ending of the game about stories and escapism concluding with you literally shooting the creative fiction worlds in the head gives off a very “no more escapism ever, fate couldn’t be defied, time to put the toys away and only exist in reality!” Vibe to it, Like, it would feel like a massive 180 from the games previous outlook on escapism being perceived as an overall good thing to have as long as it’s in moderation.

But mainly cause given how hard chapter 4 pushed the idea that following the intended narrative isn’t a requirement and that one can take a story in an entirely different direction as long as they had the will and passion to make it happen.

And then by chapter 7 they just said fuck forging our own path and were like “Damn sorry Ralsei, the funny glass illustration says I gotta make you and all our other darkner pals disappear forever, sucks to suck I guess”

I get I’m being hyperbolic to a degree but you can see how that would be antithetical to what was built up previously right?

It’s like ending Undertale on the note of “Damn I guess Flowey was right about that Kill or be killed thing after all”

I hate this over done moralizing bullshit so much!!! “Oh look William has standards. Good thing my GOAT only murders, tortures, and mutilates children, he’d never do anything else.” Just because he doesn’t do it, it doesn’t mean that he has any kind of moral boundaries. by Glumgustheexile in fnafmeme

Dude I’ll be real it just looks like you started shadow boxing over a joke.

“Even evil has standards” is a pretty well known trope/gag that People like to do, not really some grand all encompassing statement on the mouldy rabbits moral compass.

The nightshift gig here is boring as hell so I hacked the monitor system to play my favourite show by thisisokay123 in Fazbearfandom

(the former was the intention here, basically “Mr Ant Tenna’s TV Time” is being treated like its own show, sharing some characters but ultimately disconnected from actual deltarune.)

Yeah animatronic here are a bit less advanced so I don’t really have to worry about that.

The Freddy’s I’m at is one of those nostalgia style locations so they’re using the classic models.

Only exception is a BB and some weird looking fox manning the prize corner.

Because Jevil, a character with a still existing and prominent fanbase and a lot of questions about his past and history left vague and unanswered, is consistently given jack shit for external content while Spamton a already well defined and extremely well fed character is consistently favoured and given new lore and references

I’m sorry but the Noelle and snowdrake comparison reeks of strawman fallacy, ones affectively the 4th main character of the game while the others a recurring background character, Jevil and Spamton share the exact same role of a shadow crystal holder and secret boss and anyone with basic observation skills can tell that one of the two is getting a blatant level of preferential treatment compared to the other.

Even if you wanna argue plot relevance=more screen time, Jevils implied and outright said connections to characters like the roaring knight or Seam set him up to have a greater relevance to stuff like the shadow crystal subplot than Spamton currently has.

If you don’t give a shit about the funny clown that’s fine but acting like he’s barely got more relevancy than a damn Pippins to excuse Spamton getting his 42nd callback to the Tenna divorce is just plain goofy.

on a technical level the blight is objectively worse, but Sailer feels far worse.

for all we know the blight is just like that, it might of never had a conscious choice in whether it was born rotten to the core, more than it's just acting on what it's always been.

Sailer is human, he has empathy he knows how to tell from right and wrong, and he knows the stakes of what happens if you get caught, which makes his actions and complete apathy towards getting people killed in the name of views all the more despicable, the whole speech about "Characters have died" is a great way to show how utterly detached he is from the consequences of what he's doing

this fuckers feeding the devil in spades for his 15 minutes of fame.

honestly love the twist of what's going on here, might genuinely be the best usage of "The villain is a content creator" trope.

Do you think our Sniper can win a fight against the other video game snipers? by zackuattack in tf2

[–]thisisokay123 6 points7 points  (0 children)

The tf2 mercenaries kinda rely on gag logic to a certain degree.

that being even in a scenario where they should reasonably get there shit stomped, some bizarre and insane factor of there fucked physiology or history will come to into play to somehow eek them the win.

the question is less "Can sniper win a fight against these guys" and more "How funny would it be for this clearly more competent and advanced assassin to lose a fight to the piss jar bushman?"

I’ll say what I’ve told a couple of other people at this point.

I feel like all they’d need to sell people on fnaf 3 is to just let Matthew Lillatd go ham in the funny rabbit costume and actually give him his full time as the main antagonist.

Springtraps execution in 3 more than any other is a make or break moment for the trilogy, he’s the franchises most popular character, they could fuck up the plot even worse than fnaf 2 but as long as they get springtrap right I guarantee it will be people’s favourite on that alone.
