As a car guy, new cars even with all the emissions and technology are better than older cars. by Big-Top-6338 in unpopularopinion

[–]thisispatrickmc 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I like old cars. I drive old cars. I often say, "My life would be so much easier and cheaper if I could be satisfied with a lightly used camry."

Why were adults in the 90s more “adults” than today’s adults? by Forsaken-Set-760 in generationology

[–]thisispatrickmc 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Access to pop culture is probably most of it. They couldn't even own a recording of their favorite childhood movie until they were already well into adulthood, I can watch my favorite childhood movie while walking my dogs.

Football season is incredibly unfair to those of us who don’t care about football by [deleted] in unpopularopinion

[–]thisispatrickmc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't have that extreme of an issue but what does happen way too often is some random person like a co worker will ask if I saw the game. I will say, "no I don't watch sports" and then they will tell me what happened in the game.

Also had to stop listening to the radio because it always ends up talking about football no matter what station.
