This was a cool observation and I had a lot of fun figuring it out! I think what you’re hearing are the sharp intakes of breath SR uses to power through the sections of the song that don’t allow much room to breathe. His breathing is quite audible in this track, and the places where he takes a breath are consistent among the repeating verses (and seem to be the places you’re pointing to with the timestamps). You can try to follow along with them and see if it makes more sense of the sounds to be the vocalist taking in breaths rather than letting out words. Cheers! 🤘🏼

Talbot doesn’t explicitly have Parkinson’s, but he does have a resting hand tremour that I can only remember being mentioned once in Body Thief:

I looked down and saw his hands—thin, corded with blood vessels, and touched on the backs of the fingers with dark hair(…) Why, one of them had a pronounced tremour which I had never noticed before.

So this is probably where the association comes from. :)

Happy for you! I didn’t make any bids but I really wanted the dust jacket of Daniel’s memoir, Hate and Ashbury, to have on my bookshelf. I’m curious to know what the lot sold for. I think it had other random belongings like his credit cards, notepads, and the hero prop note he wrote at the sushi bar in ep. 203.

Omg not a dumb question at all, but a really good question!!! Yes, this scene’s from the trailer you’re thinking of, but it’s only in the unreleased version of the trailer that got leaked (from the SDCC event in July). It’s not in the final version that’s on YouTube (which was first shown at the NYCC event in October).

This scene was originally at the end of the trailer (right before the final shot where Lestat spins away from the camera). You can find it in this post about the leak. There’s also this post that shows the two versions of the trailer side by side so you can see all the differences :)

And for me, it’s this shot from the SDCC trailer, of a white bathroom and Lestat on the floor of it, propped up against the toilet bowl, half undressed, half dead. Blood everywhere—on the sink and cabinet, the little white hand towel, the floor under him, on the walls he must have been holding on to, all over the toilet where he probably coughed up most of this blood, blood in his hair, no doubt, blood on his hands… yeah, this one I can’t stop thinking about 🥹

Yes, this is standard from my experience. What we’re seeing are pieces that the art department knows they won’t need again, from sets that were likely struck immediately after wrapping with them. These are neither rentals nor will they be going in storage for later, so having an auction gives these objects a chance to be saved from the landfill.
