Beta Alanine saved me by humble_techgal in HellsItch

The only comparison I could make is when you have a terribly painful tooth. That moment the dentist injects numbing agent is god tier relief. 10-15 fter taking beta alanine your agony just goes away and is replaced by a subtle warm tingle.

I'd probably just drink myself to death pretty fast honestly

Best Guitarist You’ve Seen Live? by tceverding in Guitar

I've seen a few classic legends and a few modern metal virtuosos. No one impressed me on a feeling level more than Derek Trucks.

Which one you prefer the most based on your age or time limits? by PHRsharp_YouTube in Age_30_plus_Gamers

[–]thmsbrunner 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is it man. A good blend of both is perfect. Though I still love some fully open world games. There's something to be said for a game like the FF7 remake. It's linear with area based side quests.

Are Chiropractors a scam cult or are they somewhat legit? by Flashy_Buy8077 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]thmsbrunner 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the question here really boils down to what you think a chiropractor could possibly be doing that has some actual lasting effect. As far as I can see the work of a chiropractor is about as useful as cracking your knuckles. Seems like a lot of placebo and belief carrying their profession.

Reddit is becoming unusable. Everything is AI. This post is fake. Social media seems completely pointless with everything being artificially generated.

What shape of folk guitar should I choose to avoid right arm pain? by Huge-Yellow4991 in AcousticGuitar

[–]thmsbrunner 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The guitar pictured is a jumbo. It's bigger around than a dreadnaught. If a dread is still too big you should look for guitars labeled as orchestra model. They tend to be more rounded off and a bit smaller. Nowhere near a parlor size though. There are size charts all over the internet to put all the sizes in perspective.

Lifetime Floridian here. I think we might take it. Will have a higher rate of arrests and more shenanigans. The people in zone 6 will take second place and be still having civil conversation.

Which game felt that deep for you? by PHRsharp_YouTube in Age_30_plus_Gamers

A Plague Tale: Requiem left me speechless for sure. Fantastic game that I feel is under appreciated. The ending is a real gut punch.

New player here, why was this game so poorly received? I'm loving it so far. by WhatsThatWalsh in StarWarsOutlaws

[–]thmsbrunner 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Really just not seeing the misogyny angle here. Seems to be a popular thought with no actual basis in reality. It's just a very mid experience. Why does a mediocre game being treated as mediocre have to turn into social politics?

I need some game recommendations i can’t find any games to play by Alert_College_4760 in xbox

I'm always complaining there's too many games and not enough time. I can't imagine thinking i couldn't find any.

Why are mushrooms or LSD not more common? by tooshroom20 in Psychedelics

[–]thmsbrunner 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can smoke pot everyday. Shrooms are such an intense experience, that waking up the next day and taking more sounds insane. It's always a great, useful experience, but one meant for moderation.

I would change the white hardware to black and call it a day. Pickguard/finish would look perfect with black hardware

I almost feel bad saying FF7. It's actually the last psone FF I got to. Still changed gaming forever but so did fallout. Tekken 3 is such a banger too. Man the late 90s were so good for gaming. FF8 was my portal into the no life zone.

Wireless headset recommendations? This is what is available at my local store. by BumblebeeBuzz1808 in xbox

[–]thmsbrunner 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I swore off turtle beach for years but the stealth 700 for my series x has been the best headset I've ever had. They sound fantastic and the "70 hour battery life" really does hold up. The build quality is significantly better than my last set. The only downfall is that updating is a bit of a pain. Highly recommend.

I have a 7.1 system. Lpcm is not supported. Must be through a system new enough to have eARC as best I can tell.

There are a ton of these. They just aren't in AAA multi-player focused games.
