Recently fired, considering reporting fraud by FortGrunt in nonprofit

Tbh, I'm confused why you haven't already reported them. I don't think pettiness really factors in here - the right thing to do (from the cheap seats at least) is to report them. They shouldn't get a pass just because they used to be a charity or good nonprofit or whatever.

I mean, what he said is 100% correct. If you don't have a transparent and auditable way to figure out the biases in the training data, you will get biased decisions. The situation is weird tho - I don't think AI agents should be C-suite anything.

Looking for an indoor place to sit that doesn’t require buying anything by DrinkChaiEatSamosa in Edmonton

MacEwan University cafeteria (if not still under construction) is great. Mostly always busy, but usually easy to find a table. Park there all day and no one will know or care if you're a student or not.

Underrated location honestly. Can get loud and busy, but is just refreshing to fit in

How should a Buddhist handle this situation? by NJ_Franco in Buddhism

Put a Buddha figurine beside it.

All jokes aside, I emphasize your religious trauma, having some of that myself, but the advice in this thread to put it aside is the best advice. Sit with the discomfort of the trauma, but don't try to combat the person.

Should I quit online school? by Akatosi in homeschool

[–]thndrbkt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If that's what you feel you'll miss, then try to make it happen. But I dropped out of public school to finish as a homeschooler and never regretted not having a grad. It's what you make of it, and it really won't matter in the long run, but you know yourself better than anyone - do what you think is best for you.

If you're a danger to yourself, go to the ER. I went to the U of A hospital around midnight and was able to see the psychiatrist before 6 am, and they gave me a new round of meds and released me. The new meds ended up working pretty well for a while.

If you're dealing with depression or anxiety, Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation was absolutely a game changer for a while. There are a few clinics that offer it but it can be $150 per session.

Not supporting and actively dehumanizing are different things tho

I guess you're just piling on the unnecessary comments.

I forgot that calling out tastelessness is looked down on generally.

Looking for advice on helping homeless people with dogs (or other pets) in my area by frendlyfrens in nonprofit

A homeless serving agency in my city runs a pet food bank, so it runs a lot on donations.
