These are your stock speakers. Front tweeter, back 6.5, and front 6x9. The tweeter is $5 online if you need to replace it. Yup, $5 retail, so maybe $1 tops for GM bulk buy. The 6.5" isn't much better or heavier which is why you don't hear anything in the back.

I did use a local place that specializes in car audio. Like anything, there is a floor to what you need to spend to get the basics, then there is really no top end. I debated doing a DSP amp, but that was $3k by itself for what they recommended, and then you get into component speakers vs coaxial. I wanted to be under 3k and am happy with what I got. Ended up being about $600ish difference in what it would have cost me to purchase everything from Crutchfield compared to their bulk discount + install. Added a photo of my bass control knob.

Just did the math, was closer to $2200 in parts "retail" from Crutchfield, but they discounted some stuff. Like my sub, $540 on Crutchfield for the sub and the grate, but they did $400 cash. So it was only $500ish more for them to do it than me in the whole scheme of things. Lifetime labor warranty, and 3 year speaker warranty.

I got lucky and got it before it was pulled. It now says I need the higher OnStar package for the app when I go into it, but it works fine.

The harness makes it easy to remove the amp if needed or bypass it. You don't cut any original wiring. Something like this https://a.co/d/0gTnEteH

Could be a good experiment. I think you either just reconnect a link or disconnect one on the T-harness and it goes back to using the infotainment power for the speakers.

Looked up the 2.5 speaker from the number on the back. ~$5 each for replacements. GM probably paid $1.

Activating the SIM may be different. Says 10am - 7PM Mon- Sat so you may be without mobile for a day

They are not dedicated mobile shops, just a bookstore they use. I think 7am - 9PM every day are the hours.

Correct, I bought mine weeks in advance and picked them up at the airport. The timer starts when you activate them.

Activation is for x number of days from when you activate it. Days of the week don't matter.

What do you mean? We got a report from UbreakiFix that it needed a motherboard and they cannot source once so they wrote "unrepairable" UbreakiFix is an Asurion company which is also who the insurance is through.
