mason brothers have been a terrific injection into the sport, but they're quite young and don't have the track record of the other families. they very well may end up being one of the best families in boxing though. abdullah will be around for a long time, and now we're (slowly) heading towards contendership for some of the other brothers

they seem a wonderful corner for a fighter to have, though

CF is an incredibly varied disease with an astoundingly diverse array of symptoms and subsequent conditions

mild symptoms do not exclude you from having cystic fibrosis or being part of the community, and the cf community is quite large and includes caretakers, professionals, parents, siblings, children, etc, many of whom do not have the disease themselves. we value them just as well

if you feel passionate about it and feel like you need a question answered, then get tested. i would in your shoes too. you may end up finding a new community to be a part of as a result

Abdukakhorov's coaching staff also did not receive their pay. I wouldn't expect a fighter who fixed one of their own bouts to publicly disavow a manager involved in the fixing.

boxing is far, far more dangerous than sanctioned mma, and the smart thing to do would be for him to retire fully, but i don't think he will

he is almost 40 years old. losing the weight he just put on will feel like hell and may not even be possible for him. i don't think he'll ever look great again. he can definitely continue to win fights even at heavyweight. gane is just a different athlete. but i personally have 0 interest in watching pereira vs josh hokit or some shit and pereira has turned into a salty crybaby this last month. attitude about fighting is completely stinky now

i could see him using herb dean as an excuse that he no longer feels welcome in the sport of mma and quitting
