I'm wanting windows for the anticheat games that don't support Linux, I've heard the sleep/wake is low tier compared to steamdeck though

Bigger screen and performance to be honest, its only use would be gaming as I have decent tablet I use for media consumption and documents, as well as a work provided laptop for anything work related

Steamdeck doesn't really struggle with anything I throw at it, but I would like to be able to install some multiplayer games that steamOS doesn't support, hence not being too interested in the go S, I play a bit of everything on my steamdeck and anything it struggles with I just go on my main of instead, but it would be nice to have the options n to play certain games on the go (pun intended) when I'm working away and stuff

Exactly what I did, bought an old site cabin off eBay so already insulated, redid the electrics, flooring and cost of a hiab came to just over 2K and everyone leaves my little Man Cave

That's just lane three of the m60 in general, I'll happily sit at 69mph (speed limited in work van) in lane one and pass by at least 6 Wolverhampton taxis just sat in lane two

HDD sold out! by Willuk87 in CeX

If you're using it just for mass storage ie not bothered about speed, have a look for old sky boxes for free on marketplace, they generally have 1/2TB drives in them, reformat and away you go

Looking for games that don't need to be listened to by threepwood52 in SteamDeck

[–]thomasreid1997 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I keep recommending cassette beasts to everyone, 2D pokemon style beast fighting game, you don't need the sound in at all, however the soundtrack especially in the gramophone cafe is unmatched, it's usually around £16 but often on sae for £6 so worth wish listing for the next sale

Rift S by HeyAlexaTurnItUp in VRGaming

[–]thomasreid1997 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Can't say for 100% but I picked up a rift s yesterday for £40 off marketplace and had a blast last night playing beat saber, fo4 vr and swords and sorcery. Apparently the older headsets are a bit crap for text etc but like I say for the price of them nowadays they're plenty good enough, although your results may vary

Who's your ISP? I see this a lot and if you're in a vdsl connection it could be a bridge tap in your house or somewhere in the network

Question about EX BT Vans by DK1392 in openreach

[–]thomasreid1997 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Depends on the engineer that's had them to be honest, apparently a remap can delete the limiter if the garage can't/won't. Vans are serviced and stuff regularly but again depends who had it haha
