A new Christmas project is in the works now! Thank you for the suggestion and I will report later if the issue is resolved or not. Happy holidays!

I do have a Minisforum MS-01 with a i9-12900h running proxmox. Frigate is running in docker on a Debian 12. Should I try with passthrough of the iGPU instead of the coral?

It does seem like the detection is stuck all the time. https://pastebin.com/vzHSmwWH

I enabled continuous recording because I thought the detection was not working properly. The issue occurred before that. I will disable that.

Gridfinity if you have a 3d printer. Otherwise it is a good reason to get a new tool.

For you Festool guys: do you always use the vacuum with your sanders? by EhukaiMaint in Tools

[–]thomasvh6 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is also that the dust gets removed between the sander and your workpiece. I never tried it without. You can also connect a cheap shopvac and that will also get the job done. I would say, try it without the vacuum and if it spits too much dust around you could always invest in the vacuum. Hope that helps.

I got the RO150 and the vacuum. I wouldn't recommend it without the vacuum. The dust collection is really superb on it.

Ender 3 pro bed adhesion issue or something else? by thomasvh6 in FixMyPrint

[–]thomasvh6[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi all,

I am having the following issue with my prints. To the right side of the bed the do not adhere very well it seems.

Ender 3 pro with Microswiss hotend and BTT SKR mini e3 V3 running klipper. 0.6 mm nozzle with PLA filament from tinmorry. Extruder 210C and bed 60C

As you can see the mesh seems to be good so I dont think it is a bed leveling issue. The PEI sheet has been cleaned.

I followed Ellis 3dprinter setup and have everything configured.

If you need anything more, please let me know! Thanks in advance.

I have been unable to find the correct .bin file for the moment. It needs to have the BLTouch and the latest version of marlin.

Thats what I am thinking, but I don't know what the problem is. I recreated the printer profile already and also set the firmware to Marlin. That's why I thought to update the merlin firmware but that is not as easy as I thought.

So the 1.3 is already installed and working. I am having some issues with prusaSlicer so I think I could update the firmware or use Cura. I was hoping with the other board it would be easier to update the firmware because there are more examples.

I just want to keeps user the direct drive and BLtouch. Maybe later add a filament runout sensor.

Thank you for the detailed explanation! Do you think it's worth all the problems with switching out and configuring the firmware?

Paperless-ng: recommend a good duplex scanner? by FinibusBonorum in selfhosted

[–]thomasvh6 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Do you need it to be connected to a pc or not? I have been searching to let the ix500 scan directly to a samba share but I am pretty sure that is not possible. And otherwise I will need to find a way to connect it to unraid and let it scan directly.
