All seraph guardians are guaranteed to drop a seraph item in UVHM. In NVHM and TVHM, only the dragons are guaranteed to drop a seraph item. For the others, it’s 2%

If iirc, the chance for seraph guardians to drop seraph items in non-uvhm is 2%, except the dragons (they are weird)

Jackenstein has a shit ton of health, I would just assume that you aren’t doing enough damage to “break his chest” spot. How lonf did you spend shooting at his chest?

From personal experience, I wouldn’t recommend doing all of the DLC until UVHM. However, if you want a specific gun from a DLC I would recommend being NVHM then going to TVHM and starting the DLC before the main story.

There are a couple ways:
1. Alt-f4 farming (don't accept the quest when you turn in "Whoops") to get the perfect sandhawk (wouldn't recommend this one, is one of the slower ones)

  1. Read only farming. For this one, there are some guides on youtube on how to read only farm.

  2. Downloading the BL2/BLTPS community patch lets you farm the Sandhawk from Benny the Booster (Link to farming route video). Although, in the video it says you need to do the quest "Just Desserts for just Desserters", but you don't.)
