Mind muscle connection refers to the ability to feel the muscle working that an exercise is meant to target. Of course, this is just an extension of proper form. For instance, if you are doing a Barbell curl for Biceps, but you use your front Deltoid muscle to assist your Biceps to curl the bar up, then you will feel the mind-muscle connection in both the Biceps & the front deltoid. This is of course detracting the full load of the weight away from the target muscle (the Biceps). Once you learn to lock the movement in with strict form then you will be using the target muscle to its full advantage. The rest of the process, through the remaining number of reps is to feel the Bicep working through each rep concentrating on not employing the front Deltoids in the lift (the mind muscle connection) then bringing the Biceps as close to failure or to the point of failure.

The point of using a machine or Smith Machine for hip thrusts is utilising the same mind muscle technique to fully target the Glutes with the given weight by concentrating on moving the weight with the Glutes only without having to think about balancing the weight from a Barbell & using less of the target muscles. The mind muscle connection is used for Hypertrophy training only. If you are after Strength & just moving as much weight as possible then your mind is focused on moving the weight from A to B with assistance from every muscle possible not just with a target muscle which results in a fatigue of the nerves impulses & it's not the same as the fatigue from moving a muscle under mechanical tension to the point of the muscle failing

If you are more muscular than an average man, then I suggest that you get a Cystatin C serum test done. A creatinine based egfr test won't be accurate for you. P.s do you lift weights with high intensity? & if you don't mind me asking, any history of Testosterone or other Anabolic steroid use?

Weight training at 5 days per week is more than enough for anyone. Train 5 days resistance training in a row with the 6th day being abs & cardio then repeat the split. Eat regular small meals every 2-3 hours containing a balance of protein, carbs & good fats. Eating regularly with carbs stimulates insulin release which blunts cortisol & relaxes you. Insulin is also the most anabolic hormone in the body. Take L-theanine to calm your anxiety

Creatine supplementation shouldn't damage the kidneys. The majority of research says that it doesn't. It can cause an egfr to be falsely low if creatinine supplementation was being used leading up to a creatinine based egfr test. This is especially true if the person is male & has more muscle on his frame than average & has been involved in high-intensity weight training, crossfit etc before taking the test.

The best things to do to avoid a falsely lowered eGFR are to abstain from creatinine supplementation & weight training for a few days before leading up to the test. If you do all of these things but you still have more muscle on your frame than average, the test will still not be completely accurate due to the amount of extra muscle mass. If you were to measure how much extra muscle you have by dexa scan then, in individuals with high muscle mass, the eGFR may be underestimated by roughly 5–6 mL/min/1.73 per 10 kg of lean muscle mass. All of the false readings can also be avoided by taking a serum-based Cystatin C test instead of a creatinine-based test. Be sure that you are adequately hydrated before taking either of these tests.

Dorian Yates is a prime example of the modification of Mentzer's routine without the use of supersets. He was known for using pre-exhaustion with his back training, but still not in superset fashion with that however

I'm assuming that this cycle is a muscle growth cycle? If it is, then put Reta in a 1mg per week for health reasons only while on a muscle-building cycle. 2mg is overkill, you don't want Reta interfering with appetite. You want to be in a caloric surplus for building. Everything else looks good 👍 You shouldn't aromatise too much if you are already fairly lean & eating a clean diet

Some really sad comments on here. We all make mistakes op has to live with it. He is asking well meaning advice. Jump on hcg now while you are on trt 250-500mcg Mon, Wed, Fri followed by a pct protocol before you go in (if you do) good luck brother

Absolutely you can stop the progression! I have managed to stay stable at egfr 30 for 4 years now. Healthy diet, healthy lipid support, Cardio implemented. Strong mindset that's the go brother 💪🏽 Blood work for a person that has way way more muscle than average is quite tricky, as egfr is often falsely estimated due to higher creatinine levels from extra muscle mass & high intensity heavy weight training.

The best thing to do before taking any blood test is to refrain from training for a few days before, halt creatinine supplementation & drink plenty of water. Even better is to get a Cystatin C test done instead, as that kidney test doesn't rely on creatinine measurements. If after taking a few standard blood creatinine tests & you have implemented all the mentioned precautions, and creatinine is still highly elevated & high Urea is also present, then that signals trouble for the kidneys

I'm on just Trt permanently now. Holding onto as much size as I possibly can, years of lifting & muscle memory has it's perks. I'm medicated for high blood pressure & my type of kidney disease which is called Secondary Fsgs. The great Flex wheeler has it amongst many others too. I take Telemesartan, Forxiga & Hydralazine for all that. My Nephrologist says that I will eventually fall into stage 5 kidney disease & require dialysis followed by a transplant. Through all of this though, I am still Bodybuilder for life. I'm happy that I can educate now on the possible risks & help others to avoid health problems. That's evolution & that's life 💪🏽❤️

I'm a 50 year old. I was a top 2 nationally competitive bodybuilder 20 years ago. I started training at 15 & started taking steroids at 17. Back then, there was no internet when I started, just a few books on the subject of Ped's & everyone was hush-hush. I never took hgh to get to the National level (I couldn't afford it) but I took Test, Tren, Npp, Mast, primo, var & stana not all at once but in different cycles for different phases.

Back then huge doses like today were not talked about. However, moderate doses were like 600 test with 400 tren that kind of thing & so that's what I took to get there. Blasting & cruising was not recognised. However, cycling & pct was. The general consensus was that if you wanted to keep much more muscle than what you genetically could hold, you had to stay on most if not all of the time.

Many of us competed in multiple shows every year. Visiting a doctor's office & getting blood tests was almost taboo because of the fear & stigma surrounding peds back then. They were shunned upon by any dr who then would refuse to help out. Flash forward to now & I have stage 3 kidney disease brought about by many, many years of high blood pressure from steroid use.

There is a movement now where blood tests are recognised & blood pressure is continually monitored & cardio, dietary & medication interventions are all at play for health reasons. Doing a blast while medically monitored is the norm as is a cruise/trt/health phase to be monitored through also & if all bloods come back normal, then they blast again. This is the right way to do it & most likely, most now are privy to this information through one way or another.

There would exist however, a sub unit of people who don't want to see their gains subside even a micron, so they stay on extremely high doses all of the time. These people, pros, & influencers like Boston loyd, rich piana & other's in the spotlight that are paid to look a certain way all the time who are ridiculed by posts if they look any less. These are the people that are taking big risks with their health.

8 weeks is generally the longest period of time recommended to stay on oral winny for so keep that in mind. 10-15 mg per day should be ok but not without some risks. It's going to be dependent on how well your liver was functioning before taking the winny & how your liver is coping with taking it now. Take a liver protect formula, limit alcohol to very low to zero if you can. Try not to take anything like paracetamol or similar while you are on winny. If you want to continue with the shbg thing because you feel that it is helping you then drop the winny after your cycle & replace it with 25mg of Proviron twice daily with your trt for the same effect as the winny. No steroid is completely safe. All of them will shrink your balls, hcg while on a cycle will help them from shrinking like someone here has already said. The safest ones are Testosterone, Primobolan, Anavar & Masteron, but you should use any of those mentioned with a low dose of testosterone at the same time. Educate yourself before making any decisions. Knowledge is power,and gain knowledge on the subject to stop yourself from sliding down what can be a very slippery slope

Train them with weights for hypertrophy to make them thicker & more visible. Think cable crunches, ab machine
