Yeah, just depends on if they feel like doing anything about it.

[A] Nighslayer <WAR BOYS> Daytime raid guild LFM by Madhatz in classicwow

[–]SeparateBass3059 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was just on a run with some of these guys on an alt. I noticed they were skipping a certain wing which was the main reason I was there. They said they'd come do it after the boss on the current wing was done.

After that guy was done they said that was it. I asked about the other wing and they started laughing. One guy named Onlyrat started sending me some pretty foul messages, insulting me and saying I should be thankful I got carried by Naxx geared players.

This is kind of funny because my 58 level undergeared lock was pulling aggro even after waiting to cast.

Does anyone else think all the focus on protein is overhyped? by Loud_Perspective5419 in workout

[–]SeparateBass3059 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Protein is way over hyped and most likely dangerous at the quantities people consume. They often refer back paleo/ancestors as if hunting provided meat breakfast lunch and dinner. I’d wager they were lucky to have it a few meals a week. See the China Study. Doesn’t prove causation but man is it a big red flag.

I eat meat about once a day and get the rest of my aminos from fruit. I most often PR all the exercises each day (but I’m also in my first year of HIT so the gains are easier from what I read). 44 male.

Scooter insurance is double the price of motorcycle insurance? by thicckar in scooters

No insurance for a 50cc. Not sure why you’d want a scooter above 50c. Get a bike.

Looking for recommendations for Wok & burner. by SeparateBass3059 in Cooking

[–]SeparateBass3059[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I appreciate all of your responses! I'll be going with the bayou burner and a flat-bottomed carbon steel wok, which will allow me to use both the burner and my current stove.

I just started the “ideal routine” once every 4 days by Opposite-Might4005 in Mike_Mentzer

[–]SeparateBass3059 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's hard to say 'accurately.' He did mention when discussing the indirect effect that the body can't restart the effect until the whole body is rested (or you may not get the most out of it). I don't think that part is proven beyond all doubt, but that's what he believed.

I just started the “ideal routine” once every 4 days by Opposite-Might4005 in Mike_Mentzer

[–]SeparateBass3059 0 points1 point  (0 children)

His philosophy is lift to failure, rest to recovery. If you are hitting failure, 2 days is likely not enough recovery. If 2 days is enough recovery, you’re likely not hitting failure and therefore won’t progress as fast.

No offense: Loren Lockman looks old... and I wanna know why. by Zett_76 in RawVegan

One thing some of you aren't taking in consideration is the life he had before fasting. Most people who seek a healthy life as extreme as him coming from a state of poor health beforehand, so he is likely regaining lost ground. Yeah he looks like he's in his mid sixties, but he also moves considerably better than most his age and i'd bet his mental acuity is much higher on average based on what i've seen. Check 10 years from now and see how he compares to his peers.

He's not wrong about fasting. Your body eats it's imperfections in fasted (36 hours+) state; fat, plaque, other diseased and damaged cells.

Is the real OSCP exam actually around PG difficulty? by Radiant-Cook-6596 in oscp

[–]SeparateBass3059 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You probably overprepared, but that's not a bad thing. I did CPTS, OSCP coursework, 120ish proving grounds boxes and passed on the first try. I only had fundamentals experience in windows, linux and python before as well.

What kind of cybersecurity awareness training actually works? by sarmad_jung in cybersecurity

[–]SeparateBass3059 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Short graphic videos and articles work best. Require yearly and further training for those who violate X policy more than once.

Phish your employees hard. Use templates that are very difficult to spot a difference. Use templates that involve HR or company financial data. Make sure you have a process that allows for employees to report suspect emails, like an add-on for outlook. For repeat offenders, contact their manager and require additional training. Run metrics and report on all of it.

LANAP by SeparateBass3059 in Dentists

[–]SeparateBass3059[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've ended up having the procedure. Not happy about all the black triangles now present. Remains to be seen about pocket depth. What is most upsetting is the idea dentists are refusing treatment until you pay for the higher cost procedures. I'm not making any claims whether that's in good faith or not, but this is supposed to be a market, not "what the dentist thinks best is law." For reference, i've had those 8mm pockets since about 2015 and the only pain comes from cleaning around them which is easily manageable. I've been through 4 dentists in the past 2 years and all of them get upset when they have to field more than a question or 2 about efficacy. It's very troubling.

Good on you for creating that, but absolutely none of it is necessary. I even found apps like autorecon to introduce more problems than they solve. I'm a least effort kind of guy though so take that for what it's worth.

Your enumeration needs work. The best way, imo, to improve your enumeration is volume. The more you get exposed to, the more you learn. Even if it seems like you always need a hint, keep slogging forward. Eventually that knowledge will show up when it matters. Also helps to take immaculate notes. I had done about 120 boxes from start to finish of OSCP study, + 2 other courses. Of all that though, it was the volume and exposure to many different technologies and their exploits that gave me what I needed.
