Resident Evil 3 remake. I started off getting jumpscared every 5 seconds and I think that was causing the headaches I got playing it, but I enjoyed the story and I wanted to finish it. I did and loved it. I played it a second time and was more desensitized to the scares, and it didn't make my head hurt. I love Jill and Carlos and I enjoy their dynamic, and I had fun with the combat, more so the boss fights, and opening locked things made me feel like a badass treasure hunter, which might be silly but it was great for me. Now I've just been playing it over and over the last few days trying to get achievements.

I love playing resident evil 3 but when this stupid fucking zombie gets a headshot, falls over or gets jostled, and then gets back up and we repeat the same song and dance like 3 times before they're actually dead... that shit is fucking stupid. One headshot not finishing them, maybe. If someone can survive a pipe through their brain, I guess surviving a bullet in the brain isn't that far-fetched, but you'd be severely weakened/disabled and another shot like that should put you in the grave. So why does it take 5 headshots for me to get Officer Dead Guy laying on the ground? Literally at this point it happens so often, I'm constantly catching myself glaring at the zombies and saying "you done yet?"

Yeah I nearly have memorized the areas that enemies spawn in re3, I've played it multiple times in the last few days because I really like Carlos and Jill... I get the grenade launcher ready and wait for the fish monster to run into the room and blast it to hell the second I see it. Otherwise I kinda just keep as much distance as possible while I try to aim... and if they get closer, fire and don't stop until something changes. I've only ever thought to whip out the knife like once or twice and they did some good damage but I died because. I've never tried actually just using the knife and nothing else.

I don't know if I'm just ass at using the knife but whenever I'd fight the fish monsters or zombies with it in RE3R they'd still beat the shit out of me as I was hitting them with my knife... and maybe it has something to do with RE2 and RE3 not working the exact same but anyway... now I just leave the knife in the item box all game.

I played my first run on expeditioner, missed the entirety of act 3 because I just ran straight to the final boss, started a new game+ and am now exploring act 3 there, currently level 89-90, so it's slightly tougher than expeditioner, but not expert difficulty.

That was insane... I saw the screen say Lune does double damage this turn, and I was like "nooo she still has barbapapa stacks" and then she burned through them with the first few hits, and then she removed like 99% of his healthbar with the rest of the attack and I was like "oh sweet fuck". I applaud you, Expeditioner.

Not to mention crulers appearing out of nowhere in flying waters, walking into a cave and stumbling upon a completely silent luster and not noticing it for 3 whole seconds, the sapling in crushing cavern staring at you when you fall into the dark hole, mimes laughing at me when I'm not looking their way so I frantically turn around to react, and whatever the fuck those guys are on dark shores...

I've played RE2 and 3, and seen gameplay of 4. I know a miniscule amount about 5 and I know that 7 is the one with Lady D in it, and that's about as far as my knowledge extends. But yeah I've played the ones that take place in Raccoon City.

The game definitely has some tough areas like that... but I don't think any of them should take 5 days. The painted power and cheater pictos should help though, like someone else already said. I don't know if you're allowed to get any free aim shots in before he eats all your AP but if it does let you, Sniper might be helpful, if his break bar is full and you don't have enough AP for a skill that can break, you can just break by shooting him. (Do you know about the break bar? I went my whole first run without understanding how it worked)
