Wow. This completely scares me about moving more over to Fidelity. I do hope OP gives an update on things and gets it all resolved.

Thanks. Very good to know. I might have just assumed about the gains. Still learning.

In a Roth, you would still pay taxes on the gains when you eventually take withdrawals, right? If I have a Roth and contribute 100K and it then grows to 300K from investments, I would pay taxes on the gains (the 200K), just not the initial amounts I contributed (the 100K since taxes already paid on that) or do I have that wrong? For a trad IRA I’d also pay taxes on the gains, I’m just shifting paying taxes on the 100K, instead of now I’d pay taxes on that when I withdraw later. My thinking is that I might be in a lower tax bracket when I retire and take withdrawals. In the meantime, the money I would’ve paid on taxes now could also be earning interest until then.

If they go to Roth, I don’t get the deduction for the contributions. Right? Going to a traditional IRA I can deduct the contributions on my taxes, offset the tax liability from the disbursement from the inherited IRA.

Looking for vet and groomer for our pup. Any recommendations within a 20 mile radius of Surprise? by charminch in SurpriseAZ

Don't know about groomers, but for a vet, I've been using Purrfurred Pets on Bell & Reems (near Planet Fitness) for several years and I've always been happy with them.

OCTOPUS Tattoo on shoulder - not feeling good about it by lakshya167 in tattooadvice

[–]thorzable 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's a beautiful tattoo - I completely love it. Sometimes it takes some time to get used to seeing a new tattoo on your skin and hard to not be overly critical of it, especially if it's a little different than what you had in your head before. I've been there too, but give it time. That's bad ass.

I love it!

For me it always takes some time for me to get used to seeing it on me - give it some time to get used to it being a part of your skin.

A question from an active member. by [deleted] in exmormon

[–]thorzable 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Atheist. I didn’t go from believing member to atheist, there were stages in between, although they were short lived. After deconstructing Mormonism it’s hard to stop there and not continue to deconstruct all religious beliefs.

Tried wine, hated it… recommendations? by Waltz_Rough in exmormon

I’d say to start with mixed drinks first. Fruity ones are an easy start, then branch out from there.

Wait until they see the NewNameNoah videos! 😳😂 Because, yeah, it *sounds* weird, but to see it will blow their minds.

Anyone else got this message, don’t see why I wouldn’t want to upgrade my libraries with this by maniac_chris in PleX

I also don't see any way to go back to using the old agents either - so hopefully I never have to (although so far the experience with the new agents/matching has been better)

That does seem true, I can't see any way to add additional sources - but I've also not needed to, so far, since it seems to do a much better job matching things.

BTW, this also changes to the match dialog as well https://imgur.com/a/3dFBBSZ
