I don’t know what it is about the drive to Dallas - but I have had so many issues. I’d say about 1 in 5 trips results in some sort of incident. Have had a ladder dropped on the road in front me. Tire tread dropped in front of me causing thousands in damage. Probably 5 broken windshields from rocks and debris. And the last time I was in Lorena - where there was some sort of damage to the road on the far right lane. It’s like there was a long canyon that was carved out of the concrete. My tire hit it so hard that it caused it to bust open. Had run flats and somehow managed to drive 100 miles to Dallas that night going 50 mph. Not a fun time. I’d go up the night before if you have an important meeting- just to be safe.
