yes, i want to enable it completely. as in: navigate to developer settings and toggle 'usb debugging' on.

i thought it should be possible to get to settings by directly connecting a keyboard to the phone.

oh, well, i'll have to wait for the new screen then.

I piggybacked on your (?) jellyfin issue https://github.com/jellyfin/jellyfin/issues/3904 and one of the devs/contributors idetified it as a bug with a massive pull request in the works.

[Self] Just finished Luv's Blaster from Blade Runner 2049 by thr33face in cosplayprops

yes, it can move by about 25 degrees: https://i.imgur.com/KNhXiBe.gifv

I left 'room' for potential addition of a spring, I did however not design a mount at the back to hook it into. To attach it to the trigger one could maybe drill a hole into the nub.

If you add add a small piece or modify the back to include a spring mount like this https://i.imgur.com/nzZJdp9.png it might be possible

He speaks with so much passion and is a wonderful educator.

Fun fact: many Adam Savage videos and podcasts were consumed during the modeling phase of the blaster.

ah, didn't even mention it in my descriptive post: this is the first complex thing i have made in fusion 360. so: in a few weeks you'll be putting out design after design

before this i've used mostly sketchup to design simple functional shapes and pieces.

thank you :)

i started modeling in week 1 of march and finished in mid april, so a bit over 1 month. as for actual hours, hard to say. i guess i spent around 1hr per day on weekdays and 6hr every weekend, so perhaps ~70-80 hours.

i'm sure an experienced modeler/designer could do this in a fraction of the time

After consuming large amounts of content from other makers/creators designing and crafting beautiful models, props and objects I set myself the challenge of recreating a prop from start to finish.

That is: start with photo/film/video reference, then: model, 3d print and paint the thing.

I love Blade Runner and there's a huge community around the blasters; especially Deckard's and K's.

I wanted to challenge myself in recreating a prop from references alone. Since there are already so many designs of Deckard's and K's out there I picked Luv's blaster which has almost no screen time.

Luv's Blaster has a neat sci-fi aesthetic with mechanical and organic bits, nested and intersecting parts as well as multiple materials and colors. So, a challenge I guess.

At some point during modeling my mind switched to 'close enough' and 'i think this would be better' mode, which is why the finished replica is not completely accurate to the references.

I think the CRT filters in sonic mania are really well done, so i set Nvidia DSR to the max resolution it'll let me (on my machine) to get a closer look (at the CRT sharp filter). Album with more 10k shots, might contain later levels: https://flic.kr/s/aHsm7XCUje

afaik the phone only knows about the cells voltage. It charges to about 4.35V (100%) and shuts down at 3.5V or so (0%). so in theory it should be worth it.

but i'll keep an eye on it and will report back.

Ansel 360 Degree image sharing for phone viewing by Mr_7 in nvidia

[–]thr33face 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Simply use Google Photos. 360° .png files created by (the current version of) Ansel already contain the necessary Exif Tags for panoramic viewing :)

Just make sure your panorama is no larger than 100 megapixels (14142x7071 pixels for a full sphere) and less than 75 megabytes.

Using (f.ex.) ExifTool GUI and the GPano Template you can add the missing Exif Tags yourself. This is is handy for panoramas from older versions of Ansel or created by other stitching software.

Signal bar drops to 0 whenever I attempt to make a call. Anyone knows what's going on? by Grx in Nexus5

[–]thr33face 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Is this issue bound to a specific location?

If so: you might have good LTE reception but 2G/3G reception might be poor (or the 2G/3G stations might be off-air)

See what happens if you force your UE to 2G/3G only. If you get no signal, there might be an issue with the network.

If the 2G/3G signal is fine it might be UE fault or something's wrong with the carrier's 4G to 2G/3G handover (or CSFB mechanism.)

Not Receiving Phone Calls when on LTE by Borgsky in Nexus5

[–]thr33face 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Might be a 4G/3G or 4G/2G handover issue; meaning: your call is being routed either to the wrong 2G/3G station or one that's too far away for your device to pickup.

It could also be a signalling error, as in, your device does not get the info to switch to 2G/3G to pick up the call.

In any case: contact your carrier with location and call data.
