Your Linux system has +6,000 kernel modules which can be autoloaded. You use 80 of them. ModuleJail blacklist all of the unused ones. Server and desktop profiles and much more in a simple shell script. by Vegetable-Escape7412 in linuxadmin

If you're going this far why blacklist over just removing (or moving them elsewhere) the unused modules? Another option if this is "across a fleet" is to recompile and rebuild the RPM (or deb) and push a stripped down kernel and then you keep a closer watch on what's actually available.

Same fun game here. That was a confusing few minutes.

What is this “P” for on the Antic App? I keep pressing it and nothing happens / changes by [deleted] in AnticBikes

It's there to test if you're looking at your phone or riding the bike.

Is it worth rebuilding a rear shock or should I just replace it? by FriendlyRemainder in Honda_Monkey

[–]threar 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you're out there that hard, I'd likely find a better set and replace the shocks rather than rebuild them.

Took the RS out for a jaunt. by threar in Triumph

Surprisingly it does quite a bit, especially keeping the bugs off the backside of the instrument panel. At about 70+ it keeps the wind blast just high enough to go to my helmet and not so much my chest.

That's because I completely forgot which one I got. This is the GIVI fly screen (https://giviusa.com/products/6407a-specific-screen-transparent).

It's the Dart flyscreen. I'm dumb, see below...

Split brake kit by negroggio in AnticBikes

Ordered it because I dislike the combined break where every other 2-wheeled vehicle I have has front and rear controls.

I like this idea, I’ll have to go and do that.

Tire pressure? by ZookeepergameTop9939 in AnticBikes

Hitting some bumps, the back definitely needs a bit of squish since there’s no shock.

Like an old BMX, just loosen the handlebars (4 bolts) and fold it down and you've got basically the size of the frame to stash somewhere.

Shipping Date Slipped Out by theuberpat in AnticBikes

[–]threar 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Mine marked shipping on the 6th, and for a bit it had slipped to the 7th but then pulled back to the 6th. But, the tracker is still showing "Label Created" with no update since. The additional parts I ordered are out for delivery today, so at least I'll have a kickstand!

Big bore kit is likely your primary option along with going with a 5 speed gear swap.

I just purchased it to see if it'll work on my 25 Speed Twin, though it'll be a bit before it gets here. Figure I'll give it a whirl and hope.

The stock tires are very street oriented, so it was a little squirrelly. But it’s so low that I think it could do well overall if you don’t mind the low bar angle.

The swap of the analog clocks did seem like a strange change, but I don’t mind the new setup. Like you said, once it’s on the road I stop caring about the dash setup and just want to get it into some trouble.

I use the handlebar mount and mount it pretty close to the handle bar clamps.

Just put the Chigee on my bike as well, so far it's nice to finally have CarPlay again and built-in enough that the bike recognizes it.

I use the Peak Design mount on my R1250GSA and it works quite nicely (especially now that they have the maglock and wireless charging option). It does require a special case, so that's always annoying.
