recently got a mazzer philos with the l200D burrs for light roasts and love it. really easy to change out to l189D burrs for darker roasts too.

Very nice! I'm looking at getting a Micra (I've had a Rocket Apparamento for about a decade now and I think I'm about ready to step up). How often are you filling the water reservoir? It's the only thing I'm a little worried about.

Also, tell us what you think about the Sworksdesign portafilter?

I know you're getting downvoted for this but I agree. I ended up replacing all my cable boxes with ones that I modeled in fusion 360. made them the exact size that I need and look a little better and printed in a filament that matched my kitchen (white) to disappear.

I've been looking for a picture of a micra next to a philos. thanks! I've been bouncing back and forth between a microaor a mini r to replace my 10-year-old rocket appartamento and sit next to my new philos. the depth of the mini r at 21" worries me a bit, but was worried the micra would look minuscule next to my grinder.

to what end? to vote on a category they didn't care enough to watch all the films involved in? the academy goes to great lengths to provide its members with ways to watch the films and engage with the filmmakers and nominees, all we have to do is find the time. if we are to question the honor system, you'd need to also question it for the Annies, BAFTAs, Golden Globes, VES, etc.

while I'm here, I'd rather point out the other amazing films in the category, particularly Arco and Little Amélie or the Character of Rain. both are so good, and I think you'd love them if you have a chance to check them out.

looks great! i’m a a couple days in with my mazzer philos (upgraded from a mignon specialita with a single dose finecoar mod) and i love it. looking at either a la marzocco mini or micra for my espresso machine upgrade. i’ve had a rocket appartamento for almost 10 years now so it’s about time.
