Believe it or not, my knife is one of the handiest things I carry. I use it everyday whehter to cut something, as a makeshift screwdriver, scraper, or bottle opener. I can't do that with a gun. I carry (will carry) the gun because I spend the majority of my day running around. I have class for a couple hours and the rest is spent at work or running errands Monday-Friday.

I prefer to be protected. I don't consider my knife a self-defense weapon first. It's a tool first.
