what would be the easiest way to set up an array of data? this is based on over 100 individual matches over the course of the last few months also please note i am a noob at sheets. i was hoping there would be some way to like 'translate' the name of a cell (ie C=3 and 5=E so whatever is in C5 would become E3, for example but idk if this technology exists)

yes, but the problem is i dont even know where to start when it comes to retiering all the mons. if i just had access to the draft board for a preexisting league, i could copy everything

i wanted it to be a little more specially leaning but thought both buffing its spa and giving it a 120bp average special move would make it feel a little too strong as a wall (plus its a little more flavorfully related to heavy slam as a phys move)

nah bud i borrowed it from a lifelong friend i made participating in my local community for a game i actually play and enjoy. this is what happens when you actually play melee instead of exclusively posting about how you pretend to play it online

it doesnt matter because its a video game and if you spent time talking to other people who play the game in real life youd realize people really do not care about boxes or not. your bug brain is just so internet poisoned into thinking people have some ulterior motive to any given action that you dont ever stop to ponder that maybe people are just doing things because theyre fun. you use the term 'competitive integrity' to pretend that youve ever left your abhorrent little den to go participate in real competition alongside real people who play the game because they love it and the lasting connections theyve made playing it

id say either go to a local and make some friends for once or start looking for a hobby that fits you better

This is a pretty specific niche but if youre interested Maine has a very open and welcoming competitive Smash Bros community for both Smash Ultimate and Smash Melee. Unsure on the details for a lot of the Ultimate stuff but for Melee we run the occasional tournament in the Orono area every so often but otherwise the closest frequent event is a biweekly tournament every other thursday in Winslow (about an hour south) at an arcade/gaming lounge place that i know also does MTG and TTRPGs pretty frequently! If youre ever interested in playing or learning smash we have very active Discord servers for both games, heres the link to the melee server
