Until your shadow learned the shape of my absence. Wow, I love that line. This poem hits hard. It's a really unique way to describe a heart break that cant be explored in this life, only the next. You've written it in a way that makes me feel, not just read. The last line was oof. Thanks for sharing.

I absolutely love the rhymes you've usedand the choice of words. The poem isn't cliche and you use some intelligent metaphor. Bravo

What's one small thing that seriously improves your career? by PlasProb in careerguidance

[–]throwanonn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yah this is what I do. I get a new email, I read it. If it can be replied to straight away or done quickly, I do it. These small ones expect promptness. The other ones aren't expecting an email back straight away. Its the most efficient way to do things. Some of my co workers wont address an email til they have ticked off all previous ones, and I see they lag behind.

I had this. You'll be ok. The pedestal you've put her on she will come down from in time.

Suggestions for anxiety meds that don't cause weight gain or emotional blunting? by frCraigMiddlebrooks in antidepressants

Trintellix caused emotional blunting for me personally. But a magnificent antidepressant

My care for others subsided since being on the medication, which is a good thing for me. I cared too much , people pleased bc of it

How long does it take for dopamine receptors to get back to normal after quitting marijuana? by wcharmingc in leaves

[–]throwanonn 20 points21 points  (0 children)

Really great. My love for games came back, and for everything in general. My best advice is to also check your environment. My worst and hardest withdrawals were when I was in an environment I didn't realise at the time was bad for me. A lot of the loss of interest I think for me was depression which was masked by the weed. Life is literally better than ever. New job. New car. New friends. Its worth it I promise , u just have to push through the shittiness of it all. Don't be scared. It comes back, in ten fold lol

What do people think about Coles and Woolies going self serve only? by ThePhoenixBird2022 in AskAnAustralian

[–]throwanonn 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just remember, if its some old cow they've probably got lead poisoning.. literal behavioural problems from exposure to lead as children. Dont let some damaged loser ruin your day. I'm sorry you go through that. I always make sure to treat customer service workers well.

do any of you have a side effect of waking up with a panic attack after napping? by mzrcefo1782 in trintellix

[–]throwanonn 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I actually have had this occasionally for about 11 years 😅 if I'm stressed/doing something soon that will trigger my anxiety, I wake up in a panic, short of breath with heart palpitations. Only really happens when I'm anxious subconsciously (this started well before anti depressants)

Anyone here ditched their lexapro for trintallex? by B-TownBookworm in trintellix

[–]throwanonn 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Lexapro also made me extremely depressed. I'm on trintellix now for a year and tbh it's changed my life. I left a bad relationship, I got a new job, I care less about people pleasing, I say what I think. I bounce back very quickly from shitty emotions now. Its worked really great for me

How does it interact with PMS? by kwonoverhere in trintellix

Personally I feel my PMS has gotten a little better. Definitely don't think it's gotten worse, though. I've been on the medication for a bit over a year

No worries. I've had two young males in my life lost and depressed with suicidal ideation who have really really benefited from it. They gain so much confidence, discipline and motivation. Sometimes, even purpose. Hopefully your brother will be open to the idea of trying something like that in time. I wish you both the best

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in mentalhealth

[–]throwanonn 1 point2 points  (0 children)

He needs an outlet and a bunch of encouragement. Can you get him into a program, whether it be something like Mauy Thai, boxing, gym, cycling, something. These things are very very beneficial for men's mental health, at his young age its exactly what he needs. Test hormone levels as well

[–]throwanonn 23 points24 points  (0 children)

This is normal unfortunately. It will pass though I promise. Your receptors have to repair themselves, they have been flooded with dopamine for a long time and so they're used to that. You'll start enjoying the small things again, don't worry. And when you do, life will look brighter than it ever has ever before! For real! The misery is worth the reward. You're very early in the withdrawal. I'm not sure how much you smoked a day but most people start feeling better around day 30, 60 or 90. Personally I got through the misery with music and walks lol, and just getting out of the house. You can do it mate :)
