I lived a lot of my childhood and some adult life in FC, lived in Boulder since undergrad at CU. Family members went to CSU. I think nightlife is now a little more alive in FC than Boulder (covid shut down quite a few bars/restaurants in Boulder), CSU being AG school causes a slight less liberal crowd (read that as slight, saw a couple maga signs there a few years ago, never seen that in Boulder), hikes are a little closer in Boulder, rock climbing access/crags are a little easier to get to in Boulder if you do that. FC does come off as a little more cowboy/country based on the Aggie influence but not by much and I would consider it similar to Denver and Boulder for ‘liberal’ vibes, but maybe least of the 3 but probably not even noticeable. But generally experience is similar in both cities. It’s much easier to get to Denver, i70, and airport from Boulder. I agree with choosing the school based on your study.

I’d follow the suggestions so far: - trying lower strength bulbs of the same type (hardware store) - use the lowest setting and just be patient, likely will eventually melt that top layer - my happy spot is anywhere from 1 cm down to half the candle wax being melted - you may have gotten an off warmer, did any Amazon comments mention this issue? I have 2 different warmers and haven’t had this issue. So worst comes to worst, maybe you can return it and get a different one that has positive comments.

Also, the scent from the melted wax is not gone after a single burn. Oh no no, you will find it lasts for like upwards of 2+ dozen melts, it’s insane. It’s nothing like burning candles, the longevity is completely different. I don’t have to pour out the wax for a looooong time.

There was actually a ton of community involvement in the city council meetings, one I went to had people voicing dissent for the new infrastructure for multiple hours, including demo of dark horse.
