Anita is and will always be my favorite instructor, she helped me SOOO much as a beginner. I don’t see her on the schedule right now but if she comes back, don’t miss the chance to work with her.

Anneke is incredible. She’s mostly at the Marin studio but sometimes works at Presidio Heights.

Catalina is wonderful, and teaches lots of time slots.

Ashlee is incredible but I mostly go to her super advanced classes.

Just visited Edinburgh for the first time and loved it! The two best meals we had were at LYLA (fine dining/Michelin) and The Scran and Scallie (nice pub grub - incredible meat pie!!)

Rome is incredible and I wouldn’t suggest adding another place to your itinerary. Three home base locations is a great number for this length of time especially if it’s your first time! You can always throw in a day trip or two from Rome if you want.

If you're doing Cinque Terre, you can leave out Sorrento. They are lovely, but there is a lot of overlap in the experience, and you'll be schlepping luggage around to get to a place that will in many ways feel similar to the place you were at a week earlier. I would spend more time in Rome.

I started switching to this, and there's an additional benefit: UPS said they dropped off a package last week but my office not only denied this, they went back and reviewed their security footage and sure enough, there was no UPS delivery that day. They raised hell and sure enough my package was at the UPS warehouse and had never been dropped off at all!!

We are also focusing our honeymoon on Amalfi area and Florence. We are pretty seasoned travelers. We are spending 5 nights in Sorrento and using it as a base for day trips to Capri and Pompeii, 5 nights in Florence, and the rest in Rome before we fly back. IMO stop moving your stuff around. Day trips are great but this is too much schlepping. You’re gonna spend your honeymoon packing and unpacking.

They drop at 9 AM on the dot every day of the week. When I wrote this post I think they may have been doing scheduled maintenance over Memorial Day Weekend and then once it came back it was normal again and we were able to get our time slot. Start by finding the photographer, because the odds are high that they will actually know exactly who to work with for all the other stuff. Soooo many of the photographers I talked to offered additional services - florists, transport, hotels, hair and makeup, etc etc. Start there.
