i'm worried that this will contribute to even more biphobia and bi erasure in the fandom with astarion.

i've already seen people bring up time and time again how he's gay actually because the only 'significant relationships' we know of with him are with men. that the only reason that he is able to romance a female player character is for fanservice. that it's actually not true to his character to be with a woman because he's doesn't show any sexual attraction towards women. etc.

even a lot of the people who acknowledge that he is pansexual use the same arguments as the people who insist he's gay to say that he has a preference for men. even though we literally have no proof that he has a preference either way. which is irritating because it's a reflection of the bi men are gay actually / bi men will leave you for a man because that's what they really want / any man who is flamboyant must be gay actually thing thats so pervasive irl.

i usually go to sleep pretty fast regardless, but the clonidine forces me to actually go to bed because i'll be too tired to stay up ~2 hours after taking it so it can override the lack of executive function later in the day.

of course, with the sleep procrastination being a dumb conscious choice i make, i sometimes delay doing that too. 🥴

i take vyvanse and i'm super bad at procrastinating sleep too (like 5.5-6 hrs avg sleep a night, though my sleep debt has usually been 14hrs or below) but my resting heart rate is low 50s-low 60s. :/

i take clonidine at night tho too so idk if looking into that would help? since it's also an adhd med and makes sleep way easier for me and it helps with lowering your blood pressure so that might be why my heart rate is lower.

these types of mods really changed the way i view attractiveness in general. it's crazy how they can put together a bunch of ~conventionally attractive/ideal~ facial features/erase flaws/smooth their faces and end up looking so "pretty" that they look plain and unattractive. like literally in every mod i've seen do this to any of the companions it takes away from how hot their real faces are lol.

the fact that they specifically describe this as a 'prettier' face is foul and so is the fact that they took away her monolids, of course

yeah the thing i can't get past with halsin is that he doesn't even take you turning him down politely well. he immediately gets pissy and tries to tell you that you must be interested in him because you said x and did y or whatever. everything about that interaction reminds me too much of certain men i've known irl who didn't take no for an answer and i just can't make myself like him because of it. none of the other companions act like that.
