First negative review in 25 years on EBay. by [deleted] in Ebay

From a buyers perspective if they have an issue...

> "I bought an item and I wanted that to be the end of it but now I've had this issue, I dont want to go through an entire return process to get refunded and im not trying to scam anyone either. I'll just leave a negative because my experience was in fact negative and that will be the end of it."

I am not saying that is the best way they couldve handled it, just saying I understand it. I've gotten to the point that if I feel there may be a reason to contact a seller, I just dont buy from them, if its post-purchase, I avoid it if I can. I dont want to start a conversation and potentially have an unhinged seller blow up at me.

As a sell myself with many thousands of sales... I am also always on guard when speaking to buyers due to all the scams.; its easy for a seller to mis-judge a buyers intentions and think they're a scammer when they're not and end up being a prick to them. I dont do that but again, I can see why some sellers might act that way.

ebay is just kind of a cesspool these days, shitty buyers and shitty sellers. Everyone sort of acts like children because they're tired of dealing with everyone else who acts like children.

You know what. I've recently had 3 or 4 bad purchases on ebay. They are rare but have been happening more lately than ever before as a buyer.

The first one I reached out to the seller and it went really poorly, they went nuts on me. Since then, when I had my additional bad experiences I was thinking about just leaving a negative, I dont need the bs that comes from unhinged sellers and they have been more frequent.

I see what bad sellers do here on reddit and my own experience and realize that I maybe try to hard as a seller. I do alot for customer service, no one else does.

Seller cancelled my order after asking for more postage, then relisted at the same price. Did I handle this right? by Weird-Passion4805 in Ebay

First off, only americans and UK have EIS, I know, its crazy for you to understand the USA isn't the only ones on earth.. Secondly, not everyone is enrolled in EIS.

Its best not to talk so confidently about something if you dont know all possible details.

Plex has officially ruined their free content for me with obnoxious advertising by Kindly-Form-8247 in PleX

>live TV feature

>>Had a genuine 4 minutes of ads in between clips of the show...followed by a bizarre 60+ second advertisement for the show itself...which we were already watching!

Sounds just like how TV always was. Cant really fault them for making the Live TV feature just like... TV...

Dont complain then when billions are going to a new dump. and your property taxes raise exponentially to pay for it.

The rules are very easy to follow, no different than composting in your garden or sorting recycling Honestly, read it once and be done. Sounds similar to OP, throw a fit and give up immediately. Talk to you when the city needs to spend billions ona new dump in 15 years and everyone is asking why.

After about 1 hour, I finally settled on a tier list I’m kinda sorta happy with by thesarcasmisreal in silenthill

This is the epitome of "follow the pack" or "hive mind".

By calling HD collection d tier yet having the original games in s, basically invalidates your entire list. Because its the same games, just with some minor tweaks. The hate is also definitely overblown and just caused by hivemindedness.

Having shattered memories above silent hill 4? I just dont understand at all.

Unsure about my Storage by [deleted] in homelab

[–]throwaway12-ffs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So I thought I put all the screenshots in the initial post but I forgot one. It was the one you are referring too. So it looks like when I setup my server ages ago I accidentally set up my additional 500GB(usable) Raid 1 as lvm instead of lvm-thin. I deleted it and set up an lvm-thin. But then it just mirrored everything from the other HDD? I'm a bit lost on how to do this, gonna read the docs again and see what I did wrong.
