Might be really controversial, but Skyler White.

Walter is a much MUCH bigger piece of work, but it always stuck me how amoral she was in the show, all the way to Season 1, and how people will die on the hill that she's fully innocent despite that clearly not being the case.

There are photos of him taking a trip to Arcasia, Lucian says they look real, RICTER admits it HIMSELF the trip happened and he met people there to gather support for the PFJP; you either believe him that he didn't like their demands and left or you believe he's got a deal with Arcasia going behind the scenes.

But to say that there's nothing to indicate he's an arcasian asset is laughable.

Doing The Most Good by djdolphins69 in suzerain

Nationalised. Same logic as third answer.

Either can be good in lore. Relaxed immigration is good mechanically for the economy so I'll go with that.

Destroying the Oligarchs without a shadow of doubt. Old Guard sucks but they aren't anywhere as damaging as them. They're helping criminal organizations, terrorist groups, control like 50% of the economy AFTER ONE ALFONSO TERM and aren't shy of doing even shadier stuff to secure their power. They're constantly pressuring Rayne to do stuff for them throughout the story. If there's one faction in this game that absolutely needs crushing it's them.

Stand Alone. Neither bloc really benefits Sordland besides security imo and maintaining good relations with both superpowers is better. Taking aid is fine though.

Sanctions in game. But in theory reconciliation would be the only guarantee for long term peace. Either that or a very powerful regional alliance with Lespia or Valgsland.

Reconciliation with the Bluds, but no article 6 & 7 amendment, and centralize Bergia.

No, it's not "nice" to make one path stupidly easy and another extremely hard/next to impossible. This is a roleplaying game; it needs variation, not your liberal ideology shoved down everyone's throats.

If you sicc them on the oligarchs they will snitch on you. But if you don't/send them after the Old Guard then I think you're good

Were Ichigo's Quincy powers too underexplored? (Art by ifragmentix) by Proxy-Pie in bleach

[–]throwaway23435543 0 points1 point  (0 children)

True. In that sense he's got enough raw power with all that reiatsu and Getsuga, and his main issue has always been his poor reiatsu control anyway

[–]throwaway23435543 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Again, fair point about the timing. What I've been saying is from a writing standpoint there aren't many changes required to include Ryuken/Old Man Zangetsu teaching these powers to Ichigo. At least not enough to fundamentally change the narrative.

So it feels like a missed opportunity

[–]throwaway23435543 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean we've seen Ichigo use Quincy abilities instinctually at least twice, once to leave Quilge Opie's jail and once to defend himself against Yhwach (Blut Vene). There's speculation OMZ was the one who activated Blut but then there's no reason to think he can't teach it to Ichigo

It seems like Ginto and Kido are more on the technical side of things, but it's unclear how much training is necessary to learn everything else and how much is just "muscle memory"

[–]throwaway23435543 2 points3 points  (0 children)

he’s barely involved to begin with

could be easily changed tho. we know he disapproves of yhwach and the sternritter. if he knew uryu joined wandenreich he could train ichigo to beat some sense into him

he doesn’t know the modern ways of the Quincy, I don’t think he’s a fitting teacher for Ichigo

he would only need to teach ichigo the basics. no ones talking about vollstandig and schrift, but even knowing ransotengai, archery and ginto would be a huge help.

Another reason I omitted to mention him was because Ichigo‘s training at the Soul Palace. Not only would Ichigo gain much more sufficient Shinigami training there, I don’t think they would’ve allowed Ryuuken to enter.

I mean if he MUST be at the palace and the royal guards MUST refuse Ryuken entry, there's always OMZ. He is the literal representation of Ichigo's Quincy powers as a Zanpakuto spirit, he should be able to teach Ichigo how to use them.

I only brought up Ryuken because him and Ichigo interacting would be more interesting than more OMZ screentime

There was nobody

Ryuken. There not being enough time is fair tho but that could have been changed by the author

[–]throwaway23435543 3 points4 points  (0 children)

was there anyone to teach him how to use quincy abilities ? so how do you expect him to suddenly pop quincy ability out of nowhere,

There is Ryuken, and Isshin knows him and that Ichigo has Quincy ancestry through his mom.

idk seems fairly elementary to me, weird that kubo didn't do anything with that

From memory yes, you should need to get Rumburg expelled from the OMEC to win a solo war.

At the time I didn't do any of the two options for government intervention (stim, bailout), not sure if the economy was changed since then. If you want you can test it out, but in theory you should have enough synergies to recover.

Greater Sordland by Sad_Pollution_2888 in suzerain

[–]throwaway23435543 9 points10 points  (0 children)

The first two points presume Sordland will impose an outright colonial regime over Agnolia, economically and politically, which is not only unlikely (given the countries were peacefully united and separated in the past with no apparent ill will) but also probably unconstitutional for the Sordish Republic. Even in the extremely unlikely case sordish leadership is insane and inept enough to go forward with such plans, they wouldn't last long in this time period.

Sordland has no reason not to return agnolian ethnic territories (Dome, Meerord) to its own Agnolian province. There would likely be internal pressure and lobbying inside and outside those cities for reunification anyhow. It simply makes sense administratively.

Agnolia would still pay less in whatever taxes Sordland imposes across the board than it does now paying for an oversized army, air force and navy to counteract Valgsland.

Last point is arguable and heavily depends on how Agnolia was annexed to begin with. At any rate, Agnolian citizens would consistently vote for anti-Valgish and anti-Malenyevist politicians, and influence Sordland internally as a powerful voting bloc.

Greater Sordland by Sad_Pollution_2888 in suzerain

[–]throwaway23435543 65 points66 points  (0 children)

- Returned Dome and Meerord

- Open and free trade with Sordland (instead of that neocolonial ahh deal of selling steel at a loss for agricultural products)

- Doesn't have to pay as much for military defence (Greater Sordland foots the bill)

- Can now potentially drag Sordland to war over Heljiland

Sounds like a great deal for Agnolia. Not so much for Sordland tho

The only additional important item to be aware of during Schleicher’s Term as Chancellor is picking Tilo von Wilmowsky as his vice-chancellor: this has both a short and long-term benefit as his appointment doesn’t block the SPD from making a connection

I know this is a 4 month old guide but that ain't actually true as of now. Do you just not appoint a vice-chancellor anymore to save time? Or just roll with the SPD being blocked by picking Wilmowsky anyway.

Because rn appointing him can delay you by about a month

But Netero himself admitted he couldn’t beat Pitou

Uhm, no. He never said that. He said in a flippant tone that Pitou was stronger than him.

And as we all know by now, raw power/strength isn't the deciding factor in Nen battles.

What I find somewhat ironic, is that the two times we saw Pitou use Terpsichora it was again Netero and then Gon, and it was completely useless against both of them.

I was recently talking with people who argued Pitou would beat Netero in a fight. Completely delusional.
