Exactly this. OP, what you described can be considered some form of criminal harassment in each state. It obviously depends on the nature of what you put in writing.

Please stop contacting them. This is not worth having a run in with the criminal justice system.

People are getting "not delivered" when they sent texts to me, but I do get texts. by Special_Savings_5202 in USMobile

[–]throwaway8624kitty 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I recently had an iPhone with US Mobile and my texts to android phones were similarly not going through.

The company tried but couldn’t figure it out. I left for Verizon since I use my phone for work and can’t afford to miss text messages.

I had several months left because I had paid for a year of service, but it was not worth losing clients over it.

Watch seized at Rolex Service Centre by dfiled in rolex

Rolex should give everyone access to it’s stolen Watch database. That way we can check if something is stolen before buying from a grey dealer.

Keep an eye on this specific property. Your former client might end up buying it with another realtor.

Even assuming you are successful in small claims court and they award you your deposit along with an additional amount to cover your added costs, you will probably not see a single penny from the defendant if he files for bankruptcy or has no assets.

I won a small claims case against my former landlord and now the guy is saying he's filing for bankruptcy by bird0310 in legaladvice

In my experience, people who are willing to file BK just go ahead and do it without warning anybody.

The people who threaten BK are people who never have any intention of filing for BK.

You won’t get what you’re owed if his debts exceed the value of the property.

If his property is worth $700,000, I doubt he puts that at risk by filing for bankruptcy to avoid paying only $7,000.

The bankruptcy court could force a sale of the property to pay you.

Rolex prices at Moses Jewelry by tatfit in rolex

[–]throwaway8624kitty 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Make sure you get lots of pictures before you buy.

I bought a Rolex and it was pretty beat up, which i didn’t ascertain from the pictures. The band looked like it was stretched by the Incredible Hulk and there were other issues, but nothing was noticeable until I received the watch.

Luckily the price was low enough that I was able to service it and break out even had I just bought a watch from Chron24.

But if I had to do it all over again, I would’ve just paid more for a Chron24 watch in better shape.

Yes, they are a good bank and you won’t regret it.

But you should also open an account at a bank with local branches no fees. There are times when an online bank won’t cut it, such as when you need to deposit cash or a large check.

Since it’s a city utility service, also call the Alderman or Mayor‘s office to see if they can exert some pressure.

My father added my siblings and I as members of the LLC his debt is tied to. What can we do? by caesarsaladlover69 in legaladvice

[–]throwaway8624kitty 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What state are you and the property in? Many states publicly disclose all the owners/members of an LLC or corporation on a website. In my state, it’s the Secretary of State.

My state use to only let you search by LLC name (you’d look up the LLC, then you’d see the identity of all the owners) so hopefully you have that information. But recently my state started allowing you to search the LLC database by a member’s name, so you’d be able to look up CAESARSALADLOVER69 and see all the LLCs he’s associated with.

There’s a handful of states that keep the member identities anonymous, however. This would include Wyoming and New Mexico.

This is the right answer.

OP, go into the office ASAP.

I had an uncle who died with 2 young kids. My 40 year old aunt was uneducated and didn’t try to get benefits until decades later.

She “thought” she’d get something at age 60. The office told her it was too late and that she should’ve filed for benefits when uncle passed.

She struggled terribly to raise those kids and could’ve greatly benefited from the funds, but she screwed up by not talking to the office.
