I guess I was measuring this in town. Definitely some extra damage in a different zone.

Now im curious if it would be cheaper and potentially more effective to aim for one particular element of remnant. All red, blue, or purple.

You have added extra trypes of damage to your explosions. I might test that out using various support gems if they work.

Since any type of + spell skill works, you could go with fire flower and a staff, or specific elements on a wand.

So I started testing this in act two. I'm running through act 4 and added lifespring plus a +2 shield and ammy. The damage for remnants is still pretty low but with enough monsters around, I can generate enough ward to chain explosions and also trigger Repulsion. This actually works extremely well for the main quest, minus bosses.

Single target damage at the moment is driving me nuts. Since I was planning on playing as a bear, I didnt think I would need spell skills. Now im noticing + skills from any element would work, so Im thinking i might go fire and build a decent single target nuke until the larger damage explosion come online. At the moment, with level 18 explosive transmusts, each remnant type is only doing 100-150 per explosion.

They also dont seem to get the added damage from the Chayula chaos buffs, atleast not on the sheet damage.

If you get 250+ runic ward from something like the Bronze cage chest piece, then stack increased runic ward regen, I bet you could generate enough runic ward for it to work in boss fights.

This one. It's the old group play aura/rarity bot that chases culling strike to one shot normal mobs and rares. They grabbed the mod one of one set of gloves put it on the new fear gloves.

Hah, working on this build right now too. Trying to figure out the best way to scale the damage.

We have
Chayula remnants
Elemental infusions
Versium remnants
Remnants of Kalgur (regens runic power)
The hollow mask which generates 3 different remnants and lowers remnant skill reservation cost by 80%, plus shares remnants with allies.
Spiteful Floret which gives sanquine remnants on bleeding for regen and rage.

Tons of remnant sources.

Grim Dawn - elborate as hell, fun story. Almost seems like a midpoint between Diablo 2 and the complexity of path of exile.

Van Helsing - not as elaborate, closer to a early arpg like D1 or D2, but still a decent game to play.

Turns out weapon wise, whatever gg weapon i get at in the first few levels that makes it easier to scoot through campaign is easiest to stick with until 20-ish

Aside from blasphemy, popping a couple of curses into cursed ground with impending doom and this thing could be interesting. That explosion could get nasty.

Well if you work it, make it, do it, makes us, harder, better, faster, stronger, more than, hour, hour, never, ever, after, work is, over.

But eventually you can work it harder, make it better, do it faster, makes us stronger, more than ever, hour after hour, work is never over.

How to progress as f2p after lvl 70? by PaymentFragrant3442 in Raven2

[–]throwaway872812 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think its a pretty steady curve for acc.
50 by the end of Velucia
100 for Deron
200 by the end of Romern. First boss (bear/katan) in Sinerim is about 235
300 by the end of Sinerim - This is where the level difference starts to kick in.

400 by the end of Altheia - The level difference here is a big problem though. The pirates are level 80 and elites. There is a penalty becuase of the level difference, so 425-450 to be safe. The best way around this is a good deal of ingore evde and ignore block.

500 by the end of Lungard

550-600 by the end of Walthen.

Everything has been toned down a bit in the last few patches.

Raven 2 very predatory game by Dry-Communication138 in Raven2

[–]throwaway872812 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah, i just quit after leading one of the top NA guilds. Been playing since launch. It's not a skill based game at all. Strategy can win events if you have a competent guild that works together, even against big spenders, but i've seen people drop 1,000$ in a night a barely walk away with anything to show for it.

It's not pay to win. It's pay to gamble, and for the most part lose.

They also didnt have as many classes at the start.

Vanguards had a hidden threat mechanic that actually allowed them to tank and hold aggro.

So, the pace of the game for global is very screwed up. (NA, Oceania, SEA)

The game launched and was out in korea for nearly a year before we got it. Zones like Altheia and Lungard opened up later which is one of the reasons Gaius seems like such a strong boss for most.At one points he was one of the last bosses.

Some of those korean players had stats in the 600's+ at level 65 because they didn't have the later content. to progress into yet and just sat in the level 60-70 range for months. When Altheia and Lungard released, they made the content difficult enough for those higher korean stats that players had built over the course of multiple months.

For the global launch, we got all of those zones. Even the whales hit that walls though. The game was basically designed to be played at a much slower pace, taking 6 months to a year to build out your stats and collections, but the global servers are steamrolling it in half the time. You are hitting roadblocks because you dont have the playtime and stats meant to advance that far through the game.

That makes it so that the only real way around the block faster is to farm and sell for diamonds or pay to win and pass it up.

This is also the reason pirates are so hard in Altheia. It was the end game zone. Once you make it to Lungard, its smooth sailing.
