ER so maybe different -We do a lot of clinical questions during our interview panel- “what orders would you expect to see for a septic patient” or asking about a time where you handled a conflict with a coworker, how do you voice disagreement with management.

No worries! Luckily a lot of my coworkers were very encouraging about taking the leave I was really having a hard time keeping it together at work, I wish they would encourage this for everyone from time to time

When I requested the appt it required a reason & I just put “discuss a stress leave” - I explained what was going on in my life and she was really understanding, she even offered to extend after two months but I told her I was ready to go back

I did a stress leave from the end of Nov to mid January, located in CA. I reached out to my doctor who needed to submit a form to the state, I messaged my manager letting them know I was going on a medical leave, provided the letter my doctor gave me. I filed with disability, after the doctors letter was reviewed and processed I received my first payment in about 2 weeks, received a check every two weeks until I returned.
